Mandy's Deli — Restaurant in Thanet

What a disappointment, after reading reviews online, I visited this establishment for a coffee. The first member of staff didn’t acknowledge me when I walked to the counter, I asked for two coffees, she glared at me, I asked do you bring the coffees over and should I pay now? Her “supervisor” then came over, whereupon I had to repeat my order, her response £5.30, no please, no thank you or any other communication was exchanged. I then assumed that the coffee’s would be brought to a table and sat down. After some time the coffees were brought over and none to gracefully put in the table and that was the last interaction with any member of staff. We stopped in at Mandy’s for a quick lunch yesterday around 13:45 . We took the last remaining table directly by the serving counter where two people were preparing food and serving.

There as no acknowledgement when we entered , after some time we recovered a menu from one of the tables. Food was served to two of the 3 tables in this small restaurant , still no acknowledgment from the front of house.

The front of house then proceeded to serve a customer who had just entered deli.

After sitting there being ignored for 10mins, we lost patience and left.

It is a shame we expected better after seeing the previous reviews for this deli

I orderd wedding food from Mandy.i would highly recommend Mandys deli food for any event.i had Mandy do my wedding food..everyone said how beautiful and tasty it all was.came beautifully presented .easily stacked in the fridge...it was all on trays with lids .ready to put out on the tables for our guests to enjoy.you so deserve more than 5 stars review.i recommend anyone that hasn't tried Mandys deli to go check her out for you're event food you seriously won't be dissapointed..thank you To all the team and Mandy my wedding...
