On our way to London this morning. We ordered the hot drink with cake offer (fabulous). The lovely server unfortunately made my tea with far too much milk. I asked for an extra tea bag.... which was rudely refused by what seemed to be the manager. He then said we can make you a fresh one but that would be 50p. Or if I wanted the extra bag, it would be 50p. I was super disappointed, my first tea of the morning is now milk and water!!! Read moreThe staff here are lovely, friendly, always have a smile and a kind word - they also serve everyone promptly enough so that you always make your train. It’s just a shame that whoever runs the place doesn’t take advantage of the flow of people by making it a nice cafe. The room is extremely shabby and the selection of food looks like something from a motorway service station from the 80s. It’s not the modern, vibrant cafe that it ought to be.
