Went for a collection on Sunday 24th March 2024. I must start by saying The food tasted great, reasonably priced, but it is on more than one occasion that I order a mushroom Madras main dish, that it comes in a large container barely half full, so this time I asked for a Mushroom and potato Madras, hoping it would be a full container, however this was not to be. When I got home and opened the dish I wasn’t happy at all, as there were 3 pieces of potato and around 3 slices of a mushroom, and less than half full of sauce. This dish is priced the same as many of the main dishes on the menu eg a vegetable madras etc. Overall: great tastsing food but works out very expensive when only getting half the amount you paid for. It would be like walking into a pub and asking for a pint of beer for around £5, and the bartender filling your pint glass halfway (costing you £10 pint). It will probably be my last visit here as it’s happened a good few times now. I believe this is a fair review pros and cons (good and bad points)

First time eating here. We ordered a selection of dishes and all seem to go down fairly well. Pros: BYB will always make the bill smaller. Wide selection of dishes -veggie, pescatarian etc Cons: the place priority is their ”take away” service so be prepare to wait for your meals. Service was erratic.

This is the worst experience I've ever had from a takeaway of any description, and if I could have given zero stars I would have.

We waited over 2 hours for delivery.

When it finally arrived, one of the meals was missing.

I called to have the missing dish delivered and was told it would be with us in 10 minutes, which was a lie as when I called back half an hour they said the food wasn't coming as they didn't have a driver. So I asked for a refund, which they said I'd have to call back to sort out.

The food we did have was terrible. 2 dishes in particular were inedible (and that's coming from my husband who absolutely loves Indian food).

I have called back and left messages on several occasions since then and have been lied to repeatedly, saying the manager wasn't around and there was nothing they could do. I find it hard to believe that I can't even be refunded for a meal we didn't even receive.

So almost 1 month on and I still haven't had my refund. So beware if you order from them, your food will likely take ages to arrive, if it arrives at all. If you do receive what you ordered you probably wouldn't want to order it again. And if they do mess up like they did with us, expect to be fobbed off and don't bank on getting your refund.

Ordered a takeaway from here Friday night, when food turned up half of it was cold or damaged. I rung up to complain which I received no apology but for them to deny it and cook me a fresh one anyway. I left it at that until I opened the naan and found a long black hair. I rung back up and they then said they wouldn’t make no mistake and was all good on their end with still no apology. So after them calling me a liar i went in to the restaurant with the food asking for my money back because I was put off the food to which the head chef took the naan out trying to find the hair. I explained to him I’m not gonna try and keep hold of the hair and I don’t appreciate being called a liar so would like my money back. They still refused and kept saying they would do me a fresh one but who wants another meal made for them after finding a hair. The head chef even grabbed me at some point to which I did become aggressive because how can 3 people run a business with absolutely no compassion for the customer. After ten minutes of arguing they finally gave me my money back with still no apology or good will gesture. Avoid this place...
