I’m really sad to have to leave this review at one star, my wife booked me a birthday meal here as a treat for last night, we arrived and were shown to a lovely table by very friendly and attentive staff.. I ordered baked mushrooms for starters and lamb koftas for main. The starter arrived and we tucked in.. both commenting on the rich and slightly strange taste from the pate which topped the mushrooms. Finished the starter, main arrived, nicely presented and tasted ok, even if slightly dry with an odd mix of pasta and fried potatoes?? I returned home, went to bed and was awoken an hour or so later with stomach pains, vomiting and diarrhoea, which have lasted up to this point ( 10am the following morning). It’s been a truly horrendous experience, which I know has come from Darcys as the only other thing I had to eat yesterday was a few slices of toast. At one stage during the night my wife considered calling an ambulance. Not good enough in this day and age, and sadly the only point I will ever return to this restaurant is when they open again next Wednesday to request a refund. It’s such a shame because it’s a lovely venue with really...

Our first visit and this restaurant is fabulous, initially left a message for a booking, they contacted me to confirm (a nice personal touch). Parking easy, just across the road, perfect location next to the Ironbridge. Staff are very polite and professional, very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were celebrating our daughters birthday and everything went well, they allow personal cakes to be brought in and the other guests all joined in with the birthday wishes. The food is extremely nice, some shared starters that were very tasty, they did run out of the lamb dish, but my other choice Moroccan Chicken was amazing and was not an issue at all, my family all enjoyed their food, finishing with a great desert selection. Drinks are good prices. Overall, the staff made the experience as they were all so nice, with top quality food, I suggest you book and try it out, I am sure you will have a lovely, relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable evening. We will definitely...

First of all, before I share this review I'd like to make it clear that the service that we experienced at D'arcys was very good, all members of staff were attentive and very accommodating. We found their take on Mediterranean food a bit disappointing and in some cases dishes were far removed from the traditional recipes. Tzatziki is a traditional Greek dip consisting of Greek yogurt, fresh mint and cucumber. The dip that we received was almost identical in taste to the mint yogurt you get at a chip shop and there wasn't a cucumber in sight. The Beef kofta was painfully salty and almost unpalatable, and this is coming from a Greek reviewer. The Moroccan chicken was cooked beautifully but was a little bland in flavour. Just not to our taste sadly, but obviously a lot people like eating here as it has a lot of positive...

Wow... A little hidden gem the other side of the Ironbridge... I can not praise this place enough! From the moment you walk in the staff are polite and friendly. The menu is local and the attention to detail is wonderful. Even if you have a food allergy the guys will check and update which I find very reassuring. A must visit place but don't go too often I want to make sure I can book again ! 😁😁

Lovely place to eat. Hostess was attentive and has good knowledge about the food and drinks. Food was delicious. Menu changes daily depending on what is sourced locally. We had the posh prawn cocktail to start, then the Catalonian cod loin and lamb. All was delicious. Atmosphere was lovely and chilled and left for a dinner date. Sangria was lovely too. Would definitely return.

I arrived with my two children just wanting a drink and a sit down. I gently pushed the door to go in, it was a little heavy so it closed. I went to retry and the door was pushed back and locked from within. A little surprised I knocked the window and a man came to the door, he said they opened at 6. It was 5.55. The least friendly pub I've ever been to.
