Read moreCame today 9.3.25 dinnertime absolutely appalling service with one in particular server rude and over talked me while trying to explain we had been waiting to be served 20 mins for someone to take order and while other people after us were being served first. Suggest she is in the wrong job if she cannot handle busy days!
Cafe response on defensive, firstly staff were rude and dismissive and the broken coffee machine had nothing to do with her colleague serving several Other people before us. Please read other one and two star reviews for this place it seems a trend of rude staff is common from other people too not just me.
You did indeed offer us cake which we cud not accept and I told u so. I said thank u for yr offer and it was yr colleagues attitude that was rude!
People Feel free to look at my other reviews too as they are fair and include many 5 star reviews unlike the lying manager response from this cafe
Food is overpriced and not worth the money.
Seems manager is very argumentative so can see where the staff get it from and if you look at her rude responses to other negative reviews, seems she cannot accept constructive criticism.
Not a chance we will set foot back in this place please think twice...

When I went to pay I was asked if everything was ok for us? So I feed back the comments on the scones, eg dry and lack of fruit, the response I got was "well that's not our fault is it" this was followed by "most people say how nice our scones are" "they were fresh in today" and as a final comment, "well sometimes it happens doesn't it, things get overbaked' At no point did I get, well thank you for the feedback, we'll feed that back to our suppliers, we're really sorry you haven't enjoyed what you had...... in fact the attitude came across that I had no right to even comment on them and that they were quite entitled to take money for substandard fare and they certainly don't value customer feedback or, for that...
