Feel Let down!
This is not a complaint about the food, this was fine as always.As a local resident and a regular customer, I feel completely let down by the customer service tonight. As anticipated, it was busy as it was a Saturday night, but after 40 minutes, seeing people come and go with their orders, I asked where my order was.
I was then sarcastically asked if I wanted my chicken raw. Although I appreciate cooking chicken can't be rushed, ironically this wasn't even the chicken I had ordered, that chicken had now sold out due to the people who ordered after me, but receiving their order before mine.
After receiving our order, we then headed home to realise there was one meal missing. Again, although already annoyed about the above, I suggested my wife call down to notify them. At this point she was essentially told she was lying and we had definitely received the order. It was also put to us that it's not the shops fault as they were busy. Fortunately, what I assume was the manageress came on the phone and asked us to pop down and collect the missing meal.
I appreciate and promote the use of young staff but would recommend that they receive some customer service advice as the way myself and my wife were spoken to was unacceptable. The customer is not always right but should at least be treated with...

Shop was busy, with customers and online orders. Took 30 minutes (not exaggerating at all) to be served. When asked if more chicken was available for our order we was bluntly told no. Rather than putting in enough for the order as we were willing to wait. Shop was horrendously understaffed for how busy they were and could not keep up, although they also did not seem to find a second gear to stop customers from waiting so long. Due to how busy the shop is there was no customer service at all.
We also had to amend our order at the till as the chicken was sold in the half hour we were waiting. Despite me asking for more for this reason.
I do need to say the food is really good a) when it's available and b) when it actually comes. We are still waiting.
There is currently a queue of 14 people waiting to be served and 12 people inside waiting for their food. And that's just inside the shop not the decking outside.
People getting fed up of waiting. They seem to be working on each order together, rather than seeing if an order is readily available to get the queue down.

When returning to the chippy and letting the member of staff know that I had received the wrong change originally the lady said she could not do anything about it and spoke to me in a rude manner. After this I was not happy with the outcome and left my number so the manager could check the CCTV and give me a call. A couple of days later I received a call from the owner stating that i can get my change if i visited. This was a problem for me because I do not live around Ironbridge as this was a holiday with my family. So the owner asked me to ring him back the next day and he wasn't there so I tried the next day and this happened again and again. After this I spoke to someone and asked if I could leave my phone number and ask the owner to give me a call on Friday.
