Overall: maybe don't go there for dinner on a Saturday night?

Food tasted good enough (the mains were quite salty, wings were average but Tom Khu soup was rly good!!), however we waited over an hour for the food...which was disappointing. Whenever we asked for anything we had to ask at least twice (and they brought one wrong dish): not on the floor/waiting staff at all who clearly just need more training and guidance!! Overall the floor/waiting staff were rly responsive, taking empties, switched off the rly bright screen and were friendly.

Atmosphere was baffling: the Guinness glasses were insanely shaped, lighting was a bit too bright to be groovy, but designed enough to not look like a fast food place, even though the plastic tables were more on a fast food vibe, there were only high chairs and high tables so not conducive to eating. The singer was rly good, but also a bit loud when trying to chat/eat. I guess it was just confusing as to whether it would be a good place to enjoy music, chat, have a drink or enjoy a meal? And as said before, maybe therefore this isn't the place to go for dinner at 18:30 on a Saturday! Never been so compelled to write a 3 star review lol but...

Very disappointed with the food and service of this bar. The pork in one of the mains was dry and came with undercooked rice. We complained to the manager about the dry pork, he replied “yeah the pork is dry, that’s why it comes with a dip”. The manager questioned my honesty about the rice being undercooked & listed all the tables that didn’t express a problem with the rice… hardly doubt everyone ordered a rice based dish.. it was virtually empty. After discussing the problem, he offered 20% off however once the bill arrived, the managers boss was against the 20% off and said the food was all cooked fine despite our complaints. In the end, we barely touched the food and left hungry. Poor customer service to say one thing and change your mind… won’t be going again. (Next time the boss should do his job instead of hiding behind the bar watching from a distance…) ———— FYI: Not 15 year olds, we’re 22 year olds. Only touched 10% of our meals. A little bit of discretion and understanding goes a long way. What do we have to gain lying about some...

One of my favourite local spots! The drinks are always great, the vibe is really relaxed and perfect for catching up with friends. The Thai food is authentic and delicious - definitely some of the best in the area. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I’ve already recommended this place to friends and taken them along, and everyone has loved it. I’ve also ordered food to take away a few times, which has been super convenient and just as tasty.
