Wimpy — Restaurant in Three Rivers

My son had his 10th surprise party at wimpy in Rickmansworth yesterday and it was just perfect. Great environment. The owner and his team offered an exceptional and excellent service.They were professional, kind, friendly and always offered excellent services with a smile. The burgers and chips were perfect and yummy and all the kids and adults enjoyed it. My 6 year old daughter who is fussy even ate all of her burger and chips which she usually won’t finish it. We were given free onions rings and the kids loved it and wanted more.The dessert was perfect.

The owner came up with a great idea of how to bring in the surprise cake which made the celebration even extra special. He went the extra mile to get the birthday boy a gift. Walk in and politely asked if they do chips here and was look up and down by one member of staff like dirt. I asked if he was ok as he mumbled something in another language looking at me again like dirt and ignoring me. The other member of staff looked at him strange and began to help me with my order. I asked the helpful one "Have I upset him somehow?" As he continued to look at me disrespectfully. The helpful staff told me the price of the chips and I said to him politely "That's ok?" Looking the rude staff member they way he looked and treated me and walked out to never use that place ever again. Bare in mind this is the second time this has happen there. For some reason I got the feeling that others should go there that look like me as the way he looked at me was as if something about my appearance bothered him and not the other...

Absolutely shocking service. We drive 20-25 mins from home to get a wimpy but on this occasion Josh forgot to put in two burgers and we only discovered this when we got home. We rang the shop to say this, was told "what do you want me to do about it". We were happy to come and collect the missing burgers but wanted some reimbursement for the inconvenience, Josh then stated we have the bring the remaining food back then. He then hung up on us. This was a meal my grandad requested for his 80th birthday and it's tarnished the evening. Appalling service from someone I thought was a friendly familiar face. Completely lost my custom and I will continue to spread the word to friends and family. Not the first instance he's forgot stuff but usually let it go as it was a burger bun here. Chips...
