EDIT. Google's location accuracy must have been out because I was in "MILL END BEST KEBAB & PIZZA" a few doors away, NOT SEA MASTER! I'm not innocent in this mess up though, I should have checked who I was reviewing!!!! Apologies to all. Apart from the 5 stars I gave them, they also have a 5 star food hygiene rating too, always nice to see! I ordered a Lamb doner wrap, and I asked if I can have freshly cooked and carved meat, (I hate the doner meat that's left in that stainless steel container for ages turning to rubber!!) and before I could finish my question, the owner said "thats the only way we do it". This is why they get 5 stars from me, hygiene rating, fresh cooked no rubber and reasonable prices and the chips were as good as a chippys chips. The owner was welcoming and chatty too. Where do I start, I have been coming here for years, I am very fussy with fish n chips and have been to many different takeaways. This place is not exactly local to me but me and my dad travel their most Fridays as in out opinion its the best one for miles. They always give plenty of chips and the the fish is always fresh and you can tell by the taste everything is cooked fresh. Omar and the rest of the staff are really friendly and always make us feel welcome. Excellent fish and chips all round. Haddock was fried by order very quickly I.e. in well under 10 minutes, and the batter was crisp and not too oily, while the fish had good taste and some creaminess to it. Size was relatively good for price and the chips were certainly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! I ordered a medium portion which is just enough for 2 people, hence I had leftovers. Their tartar sauce was superb and I highly recommend trying it. The younger man serving me and all from the front, was genuinely kind and caring in his service, as dedicated as all staff were.
