BE AWARE Terrible customer service - this franchise lets McDonald’s down
Order was short, plus a mistake had been made I asked them to rectify my order and they would not.
Used the drive through, ordered 2 happy meals, chicken sandwich meal and a coffee. Went to collect and the order was short of an orange and the coffee. Had to spend time explaining the orange was included in the happy meal, the staff member couldn’t understand but finally got it and gave me the orange.
They checked the receipt and no coffee on it.
I understand that mistakes happen and offered to pay for the coffee. But was told by 2 members of staff that it was not procedure.
They apologised and said as the order hadn’t gone through and a mistake had been made that I would have to go back through the drive through or go into the restaurant and re-order.
I wasn’t prepared to do this, there was a queue. I didn’t want the food going cold and I definitely was not leaving my child and dogs in the car alone.
I asked them to rectify their mistake. They would not and complained I was holding the drive through up.
Still didn’t get my coffee and although the staff members were very polite the service and understanding of the customers needs was bad.

Read moreOnly used this once...a week or so before Christmas. I used the drive-thru which asked me to go to the first window and pay...but there was no one there! Waited about a couple of minutes...people were behind us waiting but no staff to be seen. We could see the food was ready the other end and the staff were looking at us confused from the next window...we drove onto the 2nd window and was handed my food...I informed them I had not paid and that no one was in the other window and chaos seemd to break out with all the staff looking around panicked. We had to reverse back to the 1st window and wait for someone to appear. The staff memeber who finally did appear did so at their own, slow and relaxed pace...no appology for all the confusion and waiting.
Drive-thru was quiet. Very few customers inside as well...no idea why it was all such hard work to place a simple order.

Read moreWe have just been asked to leave because we asked them to fill up our coffee cup as it was half filled and we paid for a large. We also didn't clean up our rubbish but they said we had to leave because they was closing. We shouldn't have to as they have cleaners and asked us to leave. Would not even let us finish our meal. Someone in this mcdonalds has been spreading our name around and I will be making a formal complaint and definitely taking this further. I am contacting a solicitor as I feel because I am disabled they have used this against me. I have severe mental health issues and had my badges on me.
