Coco's Restaurant — Restaurant in Trafford

I went to Coco's Last night for dinner with friends. I was extremely disappointed in the food I was served after hearing great things about the place.

I Ordered a Rib Eye steak medium well with French Fries and roast vegetables... However I was served with an extremely under cooked steak and for me who doesn't like to see blood running out on to there plate it was awful. I also got served with the correct French fries but ended up with roast potatoes instead of roasted Veg. I decided to have the potatoes as I didn't want to create a fuss and continued to eat my chips with the sauce that came with my steak.

At this point I cut in to my steak and the blood came pouring out of it turning my garlic sauce pink it was that rare. I turned to my friend and knew that it wasn't right from both of us working in this industry currently. I therefore sent the steak back and I was told they would "ask" if they could change it in my experience in this industry you do NOT say to a paying customer that you can ask to change it you automatically do so as part of the service.

I then got a new steak which did look slightly better until I cut in to it and it was pretty much similar to the previous one. My reasons for not taking this one back was purely down to all my friends had finished there meals by the time I got the second steak so I didn't want to eat alone. They then gave me some chips on the house to apologise which completely defeated the object as I already had a enough potato in the first place which again was there error!

I was so disappointed with the food at this restaurant after hearing so many good things about it was very unfortunate and irritating that I experienced it the way I did and will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon nor will I recommend after the experience I had and the £37.40 out of pocket I am.

Four of us last week went for a meal at the time excited as it was a long time since we had been out together. Tall good looking guy served us with wine he was very nice but after him as all man came to take our orders and he wasn’t happy that we were not ready to order and quite pushy Never smile and grumpy so when the food was delivered. Not one of us liked the meals

We had starters main meal and desert ,,starters and main meal was a bad experience and not one of the staff came to ask if we liked it or not.

Desert was ok but them grumpy little man spoiled it as you can not relax in this atmosphere

The bill came quite high the service charge of £12,60 was added on which brought the bill up to £170 Very disgusting . Defiantly would never go there again..

Just like to say that the grumpy little man should change his attitude or they will lose custom.

1 source too dry and compact 2 tomatoes not from vice cheap watery no taist 3 pasta sauce far too sweet and dry. Did not have any flavour 4 mince ground too fine 5 no herbs garlic or Italian spices in the food Very dry basic no artisan touch. 7.did not taste itslian at all mor a cross of cheep holiday Spanish street food

This has to be one of the worst meals I have ever had and I was bitterly disappointed as I have heard good things about this place. For a starter I had the 'Mozzarella funghi fritti' which in English terms is a BLOCK of mozzarella cheese and a couple of mushrooms coverd in breadcrumbs and thrown in the deep fat fryer for 2 minutes. Then for the main I had 'Pollo Salmone' which is chicken breast, smoked salmon with goats cheese and pesto sauce. Sounds tasty right? As soon as he brought it over I regretted ordering it. The entire dish looked exactly how it tasted....disgusting. It was an under cooked chicken breast with a small piece of smoked salmon on top of it and then drowned in the worst pesto sauce I've ever had and smotherd in goats cheese. I stuggled to eat the salmon and sent the rest of it back, very nearly refused to pay for it. Would never go back again as the service was also extremely poor.
