Gallagher’s Altrincham — Restaurant in Trafford

I had a couple of guinness. No food. Didnt see they had Murphys until late so i will be back for a pint of that They have tayto Great atmosphere here, people enjoying the craic or watching the GAA.

I visited this pub when it was the Tavern. I wrote a bad review amd critised whoever was running it, as it seems like a nice wee spot.

The new people who have taken it over have put some love into this. Well done. I went in with low expectations and was proved utterly wrong.

Tavern on the Green launched a new menu on Wednesday night - Polish dishes. We tried the pork steaks, chicken, and pork stew dishes (between the three of us). All absolutely delicious!!The pork stew was definitely the highlight. The sauce was just absolutely divine. I do wish all dishes had had that sauce! But they were all good regardless. Really enjoyed. Just had dinner here after watching Judy at the pictures, nice clean pub, very friendly staff and pies to die for, as pub grub goes you can't beat these pies, great choice of award winning pies using 100% farm assured beef and 100% free range brittish chickens,pork and eggs (just read that off the wall), very, very tasty, good choice of aleas and largers as well.
