really disappointed ngl probs won’t b back again as my more local caribbean is always on point w price n serving, so i got a medium meal w 3 sides and 2 cans totalling around £20… bbq jerk wings were bone dry (literally rock solid), mixed veg was boiled corn peas n cabbage (like what u get from a freezer bag), mac n cheese was basic, and the bbq jerk jackfruit wasn’t bbq jerk it was sweet and sour? i don’t even like sweet and sour otherwise i wouldn’t have ordered the jackfruit…

everything was so mid — apart from the drink, jerk sauce off the one wing which wasn’t bone dry and plantain just cos it’s plantain

i honestly feel bad writing this review because lady seems nice and is working in there on her own but i went with this place after work due to the 5* reviews for a meal i’d been dying for all day due to bursting hunger pain plus i fancied a caribbean hadn’t had one in ages and i got charged £20 for it, like not being rude but i woulda cooked myself a better meal at home for way less or gone elsewhere — so not to mislead myself again w 5*...

Honestly not one bad thing to say about this place, me and my partner chose this place for Jamaican and definitely the best place we have been to, the atmosphere was super chill and laid back, the little fish tank was such a lovely addition the fishes were all very friendly which shows they’re very well cared for, the staff were so welcoming and really funny and also super relaxed and kind, he also proved us wrong as we were there thinking we could demolish the combo boxes plus sides, even telling us it was a lot of food and we’d end up taking it home, also let us know the cheapest way to order it all, and we weren’t rushed at all considering we were there when it was closing, we did in fact end up taking it home …. Thank you for the most amazing experience, it was what we needed after such a stressful day.

Was not expecting the best jerk chicken I’ve ever had to be hidden round a corner in Urmston but there you go. Stopped in on a weeknight without realising they were about to close and still got a really warm welcome and delicious food. Can’t overstate how good the chicken is - falling off the bone tender, deep smoky flavour and serious heat, and the jerk gravy is really flavourful and fruity - great with the mini dumplings which we got for free! Great range of hot sauces and soft and alcoholic drinks and a big range of veggie/vegan options on the menu which I’ll have to be back to try sometime - though will try not to stay past closing...
