I've been eating at County Grills since it opened when I was 5 yrs old! I'm 50 this year! Matther, the owner is very passionate about serving his customers good food. That's exactly what you get at County Grill, good food and excellent service and value for money. The food is British cafe style with the occasional Greek special (all delicious), the portions are BIG. The atmosphere is busy, happy and friendly. There are a lot of cafes, gastry pubs etc in Urmston but I challenge anyone to find a place as welcoming and genuine with food as fresh that you can WATCH being cooked as you can at the County Grill. An Urmston institution! Amazing owners, who care deeply about their customers and our great town. Been going here since as far back as I can remember, and my Grandma used to love the place.

Once a year they used to put on a free lunch around Christmas time for regular customers (not sure if this is still the case), and the owners often fund-raise for charitable causes. Give back to the community, and the community will give back to you.
