John's Diner — Restaurant in Trafford

We drive past here most days and always see how busy it is so finally decided to try. We came on a Saturday morning and it was still busy with customers and local tradespeople. The menu has a huge choice to takeaway and eat in all very reasonably priced. We went for the mega barms with sausage and bacon, as you can see from the pictures they are mega! What was I expecting, a greasy spoon with it being in the middle of an industrial estate, which is fine as that is what a lot of truckers and through traffic may expect, what did I get, a very pleasant suprise, the ladies running the Diner were great and welcoming, the range of food was great from paninis to full dinners, curry's etc. The salad was the freshest I'd seen and the missus and I both picked up on that straight away. A clean friendly environment that sell good food. If I have any complaint it would have to be that the staff don't always listen to what you're trying to order. eg, when I ask for no fried bread on a full breakfast.. it's because I don't want to waste it because I won't eat it.
