Superb place to go for a hot drink after work, with better value for money than other most cafes, especially with the generous staff discount and no extra charge for addons such as cream or syrup. Happened to be at Trafford plaza at around 12 o clock today 12.10.24. The coffee was average. The two ladies working there seemed completely disinterested in the customers and more interested in chatting amongst themselves. I am not the kind who expects small talk from staff but a proper greeting and an effort to make the customer actually feel welcome and not just a number ,would go a long way. Disappointing! My mum and I walked through Trafford centre passing other coffee shops in search of the 4.9 star rating for Second City Coffee - my mum’s tea was weak as dishwater, she needed another tea bag, but that did not improve the brew.
