I will never step foot in a Starbucks again, I too received a £100 fine (reduced to £60 if paid early) in February 2019. I did not see any signs, but to be honest I wasn't looking for parking restrictions either, as the car park is purely restricted for Starbucks customers; staff at this venue should do more to inform customers of these 'rip off' charges. When I contacted the venue, the manager said ''yes, it happens to a lot of customers'' and recommended I try to appeal. I contacted Starbucks via Twitter and was also contacted by a regional manager (I think) both of whom communicated the 'corporate jargon' but couldn't really care less and basically said it wasn't their problem and could not do anything to resolve the issue. I was also further insulted by Starbucks, as they offered me a free voucher for a coffee to ease my pain - They are a joke!!!! - Unfortunately I have had to give one star in order for me to post this review; if allowed, this would definitely be a zero rating. Starbucks - you are a disgrace to...

I've been a regular customer for many months. On average visiting 4 times a week paying £10-£15 a service for coffee each time, as I have client meetings lasting a few hours.
That's hundreds of pounds of service they have just lost....
Today I received a parking fine of £60 for being there longer than 90 minutes. £100 if not paid in 14 days, which is not enough time to appeal. So you are almost forced in to paying the fine.
I was there only 23 minutes longer than the mentioned alloted time on the letter. Which is not clearly sign posted in the parking area, or previously enforced either way.
At the time of the so called offence, the car park was not full, and I was a paying customer. So no obvious reason I was affecting more coffee being sold.
Shocking decision. Poor customer service. Im sure the staff aren't aware or make customers aware of potential fines.
Really puts me off the Starbucks business model. A bit drastic, but I'll be sticking to Costa or Cafe Nero...

I asked whether I'll be expected to pay full price after a 30 minute wait, no discount or refund was offered. I asked to speak to the manager to ask again whether I'd be expected to pay the full £9 for a coffee and breakfast sandwich after a 30 minute wait, the response was 'ah well we've been busy inside the shop', my response was 'ok I understand we have busy days, but 30 minutes in a 3 car queue, there were only 3 cars before me in the queue when I arrived!!?'. I was reluctantly given a free drink token... The food turned out to be overcooked and inedible, maybe that's why I was waiting so long...
Needless to say, I'd strongly advise against visiting this branch
This Starbucks is so slow I'm worried about going over the 90 minute free parking and...
