No. But I can see two rows in the fridge, still confusion, can we have 2 Duvel duly served with 2 x 33cl childrens glasses, say can we have goblet style there on glass shelf please. Struggles and offers 2 Paris goblet wine glasses, no the large ones over there! ASK who is manager reply Nick, you meanThiefcote? My nickname for him as he has systematically over the years stuffed most of his suppliers, Local Wine Co, Beer Direct, Sandbar, Clays, LWC for many Tens of Thousand of pounds. By way his name is Nick Heathcote but Thiefcote seems an appropriate label as he mostly robs his suppliers to pay for expensive coke & I don't mean Cola habit amongst his other perversions. Please feel free not to support this villains lifestyle by not going to the Steamhouse. BTW His bar lady when asked said his name but added, I'm not here long so what's it matter, this was in relation to questioning her lack of knowledge, very politely. Lovely local pub that me and partner visit very often, it’s just a shame that one member of their staff happened to ruin it. Myself and my partner went in on Saturday night for a drink, it was absolutely rammed and whilst in the que, a member of staff approached us to ask to check our ID (which is understandable because we are 21 but look17), then a short middle aged woman came round from behind the bar, pushed her way through people to point at us (yes, point. How rude), and rudely remarked “you better take that hat off if you want to stay in here” then scuttled off. This lady clearly has zero communication and customer service skills, i feel like “please are you able to remove your hat” would have sufficed, minus the pointing as well.. politeness...

Over the last 2-3 years this establishment has fell off completely. Been in a few times since Jackson left and the new staff are pretentious, stuck up snobs who judge you after taking one look at you and refuse entry for no good reason. If Nick is still in charge I would highly recommend bringing the 2020-2021 staff back especially Jackson, Kelly, Blaine and Joe.

If I could put 0 stars I would. It’s a big shame as I have been going in there for years and recently moved back into the area.
