I have been going to Karpaty Bakery in Leeds for over a year now, and have recently discovered the one in Wakefield. My Partner is Hungarian and he introduced me to Karpaty, I have never looked back.
The cakes are spectacular, they delicious and such a excellent value, honest much tastier than anywhere else I’ve ever bought cakes from and at unbelievable prices.
The customer service is excellent too, always made to feel welcome and staff are happy to explain what’s in anything, they are friendly, polite and jolly too.
I’m only glad they aren’t located close by otherwise I’d be the size of an elephant, but they are definitely worth a drive for those special occasions. I’ve also introduced Karpaty to my friends and colleagues, who are also very impressed with them.
I highly recommend this place, if you’ve never tried it, you really are...

Rolls tasted like chemicals, crescent rolls more salty then sweet or I would say no taste at all and this Spanish doughnuts...I think someone who make them don’t have any idea about baking, it taste like oil, like dough full of oil. Sad I was expecting something special because them prices are big unfortunately them products are poor....
Read moreI love the £3 mix and match offer, and especially like the French Culler Doughnuts! Haven't tried the other pastries and bakes, however, staff are lovely and friendly. Service varies depending on the staff on shift, some cut pastries when asked, and some allow you to cut your own pastries. Would recommend this bakery for variety, price, and pleasant...
