So much food! 😍 It was so delicious, we had poppadoms and a pickle tray for our first starter. Then onion bhajis, paneer pakoras, lamb chops and prawn on Puri for main starter 😁 Karahi fish with spinach, Nambali special, pilau rice, cucumber raita, aloo gobi, garlic naan and peshwari naan for the main course. It's bring your own beer which is great as it keeps the cost down and allows you to buy more dishes to try. They provide an ice bucket for the alcoholic drinks you bring (don't bring soft drinks as they are on the menu) and glasses. IMPORTANT to note that payment is CASH only so don't forget to visit a cash machine before your visit. We will definitely be returning.

Went here last night as i was passing through Wakefield ..really enjoyed the starters .. seekh kebabs and the lamb chops were to die for .. the main chicken karahi was nice and spicy without blowing my head off... it was pretty quiet as it was late doors.. the host was good too.. all in all I could say that it's probably the best curry I had in a long time .. Will definitely go back with a few mates.. keep up the good work.. Went here again last night 12/6/19after a year .. the food was amazing .. they never fail to impress.. Wednesday night is now officially a syhibas night.. tried the fish tonight .. spot on.. Third time reviewing

We arrived just before 6pm and were seated straight away but felt so close to the next table. The waitress came over a little while after and asked if we were ready to order and we were so I wanted to order off the early bird and the other two I were with said they wanted to order from the menu as they weren't bothered about coffee and she told us that we either all had to order the early bird or not at all which it doesn't state that on the menu! She also told us that we couldn't order pickle trays for some reason even though she then went on to ask if we would like to order poppadoms? We were a little thrown and confused by this point so we all just placed our order, a starter each, a main each and 2 sundries each so once she had left we discussed what had just been said and then we realised that we had actually ordered the early bird but with extra sundries so I called her over and asked why can't we do this as the offer and then pay for the additional things on top and she agreed and then came back and said I've sorted that for you like she had done us a favour even though she should have pointed this out to us when we were ordering. Starters came quite quick and one out of the three of us said theirs was a little dry but ate it and didn't want to make a fuss. Mains came and my Korma was so watery I had it sent back, the replacement was ok but not the best I've ever had. My friend's curry was so bland but he couldn't be bothered to complain as it was like a cattle market in there and we asked for things like napkins which I had to ask again because they had forgotten, my friend was asked to push his chair so close in to the table as they were so tight on space. As soon as our mains were cleared the bill was put on our table and we got the impression they wanted us to leave and didn't feel a friendly atmosphere all in all. We paid the bill but didn't feel it warranted a tip for this visit. As I said by the time we got half way through we couldn't be bothered complaining or trying to explain ourselves, we just agreed that we wouldn't return. Some of the staff were nice but just felt very unorganised and rushed, so much so that it wasn't until after we left that we realized they hadn't even offered us our...

Visited here on a Friday night after we were told was a great place for a curry. Not overly impressed, table was dirty (sticky). Starters Came out very quick (raised an eyebrow) which had no flavour, Liver Tikka dry, over cooked, few pieces edible but yet came out very quickly, didn't taste fresh, majority left. Salad looked like it was older then 3 days prep allowance = Limp n dry. One chicken starters looked more KFC less taste! But the Samosas & Pakoras were good. Staff were friendly but like a car salesman, yet didn't pick up on majority left starters. Wanted to complain, but in typical style one group asked us not to, as restaurant was busy... Waited 30mins for mains which were swimming in oil & few of us asked for Apna meat curry...(what we brought up on) & was this lacking in spices, not fresh. Actually one group said her curry tasted like one she gets in a Jar. So taste lingered well after... Place was busy because bring own bottle, so probably don't really care on food quality and by attitude if you did try to question quality they'd make you feel uncomfortable about it. As we left another diner outside said 'food was bad tonight, place is hit n miss with standard'. It's cash only... soft drinks are expensive if you've kids....toilets could do with deep clean & freshen up.. 1star is for...

Absolute terrible service have been here a few times and never has it been as bad as this. We booked a table 10 days in advance for 8.30pm we arrived at 8.20pm was told to take a seat as our table was not ready. People were approaching counter to ask for tables, the guy was asking have you booked? When they replied NO he said he would try and fit them in SO they were seated before us that had booked??? When we was finally seated at 9.10pm we we asked for coca cola to go with the alcohol that we had brought.. We was given a menu and ordered starters and main courses before 9.30pm starters came still no soft drinks. we finished starters no soft drinks. 10.30 still no soft drinks after asking twice still no main course either and more people that had no bookings still coming in. Main meal was about to come to us at 10.45 after asking again are we going to eat tonight?? By this time we had gone past wanting to eat!! What is the booking system all about?? we have contacted a local newspaper about this experience and are still waiting to see if any comment from SHYHIBA has been made We was given the names of ALI and ADAM from the restaurant to make comments to the press. We hope that this review does help people that want to celebrate an occasion to think twice about this...
