Very disappointed visit/experience and was labled as a thief by the manager..... Group of 4 elderly ladies 66-86yr olds. Checked with bar staff the exact content of the meals ordered because of dietary requirements. I was reassured twice what was included in the meals that I wanted to order. I paid in FULL for the ordered meals x 4 covers. When served 1 of the meals x3 items was missing. I was told they were not included in the meal as previously reassured by Graham that these items were included... I was requested to pay for them. The waiter returned some time later and left x2 servings of the missing items obviously the rest of the meal had gone cold by now. I was ordered to go to the bar, whilst I was eating my tepid food, to pay the outstanding balance. It was agreed by the waiter it was OK to pay once I had finished my meal. Like a dutiful customer I went to pay the balance. I was told by two bar staff, one being graham that it was OK and that the balance had been waivered!!!. I went back to the table, to be challenged again by the server to pay the balance. One of our party members used the disabled facilities. She came out upset.... their was urine all on the floor and no toilet paper. Her trouser bottoms where soaked. Once AGAIN I returned to the bar to pay the balance. I asked to see the manager. 8 minutes later, guess who the rude server (the Manager) I found him aggressive and rude. I questioned the customer service I had received, the wrong information of the menu content, and consequently the price of my food ordered. The state of his customer disabled toilets was brought to his attention and my sisters disgusting toilet experience. Not once did I receive an apology........ I offered £2 of the £4 outstanding balance. And suggested the remainder wouldn't be paid and could be seen as a gesture of good will due to the poor service and total bad experience on this visit. At this point the manager called me a thief, took my picture on his body camera. Told me I was barred from the pub and I would be placed on 'pub watch'...... do I have anything to say positive about my visit to 6 Chimneys. YES THE DEPARTURE FROM THE BUILDING. I will be writing to JD Witherspoons head office regarding this experience and been categorised as a criminal and called a thief.....and had my photograph taken without my consent for...

Visited here today with friends, my friend ordered her food at the till. Member of staff brought the food out my friend said I ordered mine in a muffin, staff member left then continued to clean tables. My friend asked is my breakfast coming? To be told no by same staff member you ordered it as a sandwich and not muffin so no it's not coming. I said working in a cafe myself can't you just do it on the muffin? No she ordered it on bread at the till staff repeated the order that's what she gets. My friend raised voice a little as staff very rude indeed. Basically saying she wasn't getting anything, I was like so till person has made an error and she's like no your friend. Absolutely shocking she's like then I'll get a manager, took ages to come to us. Who was lovely but I pointed out his staff member was very rude and smug even though all my friend had asked if she was getting her breakfast replacement? To which she replied no with a smirk on her face, wasn't even going to tell my friend. I work in a cafe environment and I would never just leave a customer sat waiting not even mentioning anything, you can easily offer to do a refund and put the correct item through the till it's not hard to do. Absolutely ridiculous all they had to do was swap the bread for a muffin. The manager was lovely just needs to sort the very rude staff out I would never treat or leave a customer how this lady did very...

Very poor quality food, came here today with my mum and a friend for a bite to eat and was very disappointed. Paid over £29.00 for a Korean chicken rice bowl, all day brunch and a bbq chicken pizza including drinks. When the food arrived the pizza wasn’t even cut also my friend’s food was very cold so that made me feel very disappointed a mean your paying that sort of money for food only to be getting ripped off a mean it’s just a complete joke to them all I wanted to do today was have a nice meal and I can’t when the foods not cooked properly so instead there just using cheap ingredients or banging it in a microwave for 10-15 mins for it to just go cold quickly. Hopefully they see more sense and start cooking it properly instead of using the cheap ways and maybe there will be a lot more 5 star reviews but at the moment it’s just poorly managed and really run down to ground that’s properly why there wasn’t a lot of people when I was in today but yeah don’t think I’ll be back in a rush especially if there serving poor quality food like that. Good luck if they still stay open won’t be back in a rush.

The Six Chimneys is a fantastic Wetherspoons establishment that truly stands out from the crowd. The recent refurbishment has breathed new life into the venue, giving it a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The spacious layout provides an abundance of seating options, ensuring that patrons can always find a comfortable spot to enjoy their meal or drinks. Speaking of drinks, The Six Chimneys boasts an impressive selection of beers and cocktails, catering to a wide range of tastes. And when it comes to food, the menu never disappoints. Whether you're craving a classic like steak and chips or something more adventurous, there's always something delicious on offer. One of the standout features of The Six Chimneys is its exceptional staff. Friendly, attentive, and always ready to lend a helping hand, they contribute to the welcoming vibe of the pub and ensure that every customer feels valued and appreciated. Additionally, the cleanliness and modernity of the toilets are a testament to the pub's commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and comfort for its patrons.

Long time since I've visited The Six Chimneys. Really like the refurbishment / expansion - plenty of room between the tables, so doesn't feel cramped like some of their other branches. Came in on Easter Monday 2024 for breakfast, just before 10:00. Not too busy and plenty of seats available, so was able to get a booth in the new section. Ordered a small breakfast with mushrooms and an American breakfast with black pudding, plus hot drinks. The app wasn't available for table service, so had to order at the bar. Staff were efficient and friendly and our meals arrived quickly. Yes, it's not a Gastropub, so yo get what you pay for. Food was tasty and good value. Will definitely come again.
