I don't normally leave negative reviews but unfortunately can't really say anything positive about our visit. Keeping it short we ordered 2 "luxury" hot chocolates both were flat cold when I told the woman behind the bar it was just all a hassle for her and she made that clear with a bad attitude and brought us out the hot chocolate in the picture that's just a normal hot chocolate after explaining we ordered luxury hot chocolate all she said was we have no cream and we had to ask for a refund in the price difference but everything seemed to be a inconvenience for her . We won't be returning anytime soon plenty of more welcoming places in Pontefract to visit.

The bar is ok and the concept is great. I have been here a few times now but there are still a few things that could be better. It does take a while to get served and the bar area is inconvenient as people are trying to que, whilst making way for other customers to go the the toilet, go outside to the small beer garden or climb the stairs. I also think its a little pricey compared to some of the other bars in this small area of town. I am glad this bar has landed though, and I am sure the issues are due to the novilty of this being a new establishment. The place is modern and feels comfortable, when you can get sat down. I didn't get a great feeling about the place. I am in fairness 70 years old, so maybe for the younger end. However, before leaving I nipped to the gents, and I was horrified.
