Long time since I've visited The Six Chimneys. Really like the refurbishment / expansion - plenty of room between the tables, so doesn't feel cramped like some of their other branches. Came in on Easter Monday 2024 for breakfast, just before 10:00. Not too busy and plenty of seats available, so was able to get a booth in the new section. Ordered a small breakfast with mushrooms and an American breakfast with black pudding, plus hot drinks. The app wasn't available for table service, so had to order at the bar. Staff were efficient and friendly and our meals arrived quickly. Yes, it's not a Gastropub, so yo get what you pay for. Food was tasty and good value. Will definitely come again.

I order 2 meals 1 mixed grill and a steak. They had sold out of mixed grill .so we went for to steaks. When they arrived I was discussed what was on the plates.on one plate a steak with about 7 chips on.the other steak with a jacket.it was very small and I mean small.no peas mushrooms or grilled tomato. I couldn't believe it.10 pound each.how much does one spud cost.i would of been embarrassed bringing that out of the kitchen to a customer. In fact I would of refused.if I was in that kitchen I would not have sent it out.
