Chuckle brothers!!
Why did i bother giving this place a 2nd chance? the 2 mail waiters are beyond useless, decided to try a takeaway order, and thought picking the meal up would be quicker than delivery on a busy night?
walked in & paid, the waiter is very rude took my money then turned his back and walked away, no communication as to weather or not my meal was ready? so i stood waiting to ask the 2nd waiter who's rude response was to shake his head then walk away!
So i sat down... same experience with others coming in for meals, starting to get a little worried after 20 minutes waiting, even though i arrived 10 minutes later than the estimated time set by them... i noticed 3 bags of meals when i arrived all behind the counter going cold, after 25 minutes i was asked again the name of my order? then he bent down to pick up one of these bags and gave me mine, this bag had been sat behind the counter at least 25 minutes, ready when i first came!!
decided to let them know i was unhappy and they could have given me this 25 minutes ago!!!
the waiter muttered what half sounded like sorry?? then looked down at the bar and walked away...... customer sat next to me completely agreed and told us they had done the same to the customer just before me!!
God knows how long this guy had been waiting for his order? he was there before me and still waiting when i left.
Obviously food was stone cold when eating it, good jo i was careful when carrying the meal as one lid was completely off and could have split everywhere.
we experienced the same service last time eating in, from the same 2 waiters..... no excuses this time it was not busy, you 2 are very rude and should not still be in this job, i will be making a personal call to the owner for...

As an Indian restaurant, Bahar’s culinary offerings were a delightful exploration of flavors. What truly stood out was their attention to detail and commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience. Upon their request, we pre-ordered our meals due to the size of our group, and this decision undoubtedly contributed to the flawless service we received. The food was not only delicious but also delivered right on time, ensuring that every guest could enjoy their meal without any delay.
The ambiance at Bahar Restaurant was lovely, creating the perfect backdrop for an enjoyable evening. The choice of music added a wonderful touch to the overall experience, enhancing the atmosphere without overpowering our conversations.
What truly impressed me was the dedication of the staff to ensuring our satisfaction. Their recommendation to pre-order demonstrated their commitment to providing top-notch service, and they certainly delivered on that promise. The waitstaff were attentive, courteous, and genuinely invested in making our dining...

I was starving after a long day at the Royal Welsh and thought a curry would help sustain me on the long drive home to the top left corner of the country. I made the right decision.
I had lamb dhansak, plain rice and a peshawar naan with a bottle of Kingfisher to help it on its way. This is my default meal so while I'm not a chef, I feel I'm well placed to compare.
The total bill including poppadom was a little over £20. That's mor than I'd normally spend on myself but it was well worth it. The meat was just the right side of falling apart, the sauce had just the right amount of sweetness, the rice was beautifully fluffy and the naan was excellent.
I don't remember whether there was music playing so it can't have been too loud if there was.
Service was maybe a shade too attentive for my liking but I think it would be unfair to dock a star for that.
All in all, an almost unheard-of 5 stars. If you're anywhere near y Drenewydd, I very much...
