Bryn Hir Arms — Restaurant in Wales

Oh dear! We visited the Bryn Hir Arms in September 2012. My partner was looking forward to the Broccoli and cream cheese bake - I was undecided. I asked where the sausages came from. "I'll be back" was the response to be informed that it was xx (frozen food supplier) and that no-one had asked them that before! As we went through the bistro menu, I learnt that the main dishes were from xx - "as they were a pub!" I settled on the veg. lasagne - which arrived with peas on top and was OK. Absolutely loved this fantastic traditional pub. Made very welcome from walking in a babble of voices in Welsh and English and very efficient barmaid she never stopped. place was harmonious between locals and tourists alike. and by my home town prices are low. this place and its staff are a credit to criccieth. This pub is situated on the main Street in Criccieth. There is a large beer garden to the side with half the area being covered. Each time I visited, the bar staff have been helpful and friendly. The beer is good and normally priced. On my last visit bar meals were not being served although they may be soon. Worth a visit and family...
