Tir a Môr — Restaurant in Wales

Absolutely adore this little place, we visited for the first time while we were on holiday at Haven Hafan-Y-Môr. We arrived just before the breakfast menu ends and the lunch time menu starts. My partner ordered a breakfast bap (two of them actually as he was very hungry) and he made changes to the contents of the bap. I ordered off of the lunch menu, I had a cheese and onion omellete. My son (aged 4) ordered sausage, chips and gravy. We had a lovely man take our order, were gutted we didn't catch his name so we could mention him properly. He sat down with us while taking our order and showed us the specials board too on the TV screen. The upstairs seating is very nice, the styling is beautiful. The food was stunning, cooked to perfection. I was amazed with the salad that came with my food, I was expecting the basic generic side salad.. but this one had peppers, beetroot with a basil/pesto style glaze.

We enjoyed it that much we decided to visit a second time but this time brought my partners parents with us. They absolutely loved their food, they both ordered the pulled pork baps. The man waiting on us remembered us from previously and we had a really good conversation. All the staff are lovely there. Even the downstairs seating is beautifully styled. My partner tried the cheesecake on this visit and said it was delicious. Can't wait to visit again when were next...

My wife had a cup of tea and Clafouti with cream while I had a decaf flat white with caramel syrup and their lemon cheesecake. Absolutely delicious and the service was very pleasant and prompt despite it being very busy. There is a reasonable amount of space with an upstairs and downstairs and it didn't feel too cramped. If I was to suggest anything for improvement, the decor was not as cosy as it could have been. Some coffee shops now go to town with homely ambience and decor and this one felt a little plain. fast service and cooking time for about 9 full welsh breakfast at the same time. staff was great and friendly, they helped rearrange the tables upstairs to allow us to sit together. food was good: 2 bacon slices, hash brown, black pudding, mushrooms, beans, half tomato, meaty sausage, 2 butterd toast slices and a poached egg! the price for all this was about £10. It was a good portion size and tasted great. some prices seemed to be a bit on the high side but i didn’t order them so I cant say if...
