IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN DO NOT GO HERE. Grown man (35+) was taking photos of young girls, the youngest being 9/10. The photos were zoomed in on inappropriate areas and there were multiple. We told the staff and they just sympathised with him, and said that he is simple minded so he doesn’t know what he is doing and he is well loved within the community, and a regular at their cafe. We demanded the photos to be deleted and the cafe worker (I think she may be been the manager/owner but not 100% sure) said he already has deleted them despite us being sat right behind him so we could see he still had them. We reiterated they hadn’t been deleted and she was defending him saying he had even though it had been about 1 minute since we alerted them and he had taken 10+ that we had seen him scrolling through so he couldn’t have even deleted them in that time, meaning she allowed him to go home with those on his phone still! All she said to him was ‘well that was a bit naughty’ and gave him a friendly tap on the back. We alerted the family with the young girls so they obviously moved seats, with no compassion or words from any of the staff. They refused to kick him out or move him despite us being with a 13 year old child ourselves. After a few minutes I went back up to the staff to say ‘I’m aware he may be ‘simple minded’, but that doesn’t excuse this type of illegal behaviour and we all feel very uncomfortable about the lack of care and acceptance you have to this behaviour’. To which she replied ‘he’s not taking them for those purposes, he doesn’t know what he’s doing’ she also told us he had a job and lives independently. After this discussion she went back to him and said ‘can we just have a chat outside’ and then proceeded to help him gather his belongings and continued to show no regard for the actual victims. He wasn’t kicked out, or asked to leave, so obviously he will continue to be a regular at this cafe. To the lady who allowed this, it’s 2025, enabling this behaviour is disgusting and unacceptable as how can we ever expect this behaviour to stop if this is how these types of men are treated? Please educate yourself as allowing him to get away with that, is also allowing him to think it’s OK to do far worse or promote this...

We visited today and we had to tackle dogs just to find a table. We were overcharged by quite a substantial amount of money and when it was brought up with the waitress she denied it and went on the defensive ( I noticed her muttering to herself behind the till whilst shaking her head). The jacket potato ordered had crunchy soil still on the skin and the butter was under the potato so it was swimming. We asked for a cheese and onion baguette which came with no onion so they later brought some in a bowl and I had to put it in the baguette myself at the table which I found degrading. Also we ordered a breakfast and the food was sitting in oil and the toast was thin and burnt. Service was slow and tables were un-wiped and covered...

Not too bad. Not as good as in the past today. Shame really. It has been great in the past. I don’t think I’ll rush back next time. Coffee was nice but the food wasn’t as good. What concerned me the most was the young lady behind the toll constantly sniffing and wiping her nose every few seconds on her hand. I think if people are ill they really shouldn’t come into work. I’m sure she did a covid test but she was clearly suffering with a heavy cold and wasn’t using tissues or sanitiser and I didn’t like handling stuff she passed me. I still do recommend this place as it has a quirky menu and lots of choice of fresh cakes and the staff are really friendly but I noticed a few changes in my dish that added up to my...

Hidden gem. To look at it, you wouldn't expect to find a high standard of meat and vegan meals in such a place, but we were happily disproved. Food clearly cooked to standard, with the exception of the time it arrived at the table - two meals coming about 10 minutes between one another. Vegan breakfast burrito was well seasoned and decent price for portion size. Corned beef hash was well cooked and filling. Staff were lovely and attentive. Would highly recommend.

Worst cafe in Pwllheli (coming from a local perspective). Best part of £6 for a bacon and sausage bap. Bacon wasn't fully cooked (IMO) and the sausages are really low quality (the type of sausage that has a meat content similar to that of a vegan sausage!). Very low quality products used but high price tags on all offerings. Service is diabolical, no one seems to know what's going off. You'd be better off at cafe Sol or Wetherspoons. Avoid at all costs 👍

Hearty menu at reasonable prices in eclectic setting. Informal (dogs welcome) but clean and well kept, with colourful decor on a station theme (breakfasts include 'Ivor', 'The Rocket' and the 'Orient Express').The platform awning makes a sheltered outdoor seating area and the friendly owner even puts out blankets if the weather is chilly. All in all, a great cafe in a lovely part of Wales, especially if you've taken the train here!
