Visited here twice recently for breakfast, and was not disappointed! It's a small place on the face of it indoors (less than 10 tables) as it's situated in a corner of the main indoor amusements, but they do have an outside area which in the summer would be good. On our midweek visit there were a few tables free, but just the one on our Saturday morning visit. Went for the Full Welsh breakfast, which for £6 included a tea/coffee/juice, egg, bacon, sausages, saute potatoes, mushrooms, beans, tomato, black pudding, and 2 slices of toast with butter/jam/marmalade. They seemed happy to substitute items on our visits, so we got a hash brown or 2 for each item swapped. Either way our plates were full, and so were our bellies after! It was very tasty, and whilst they weren't the most expensive ingredients you could buy, they were certainly good enough for us - the bacon for instance was thick, not the thin cheap supermarket stuff. Staff seemed friendly and service was good, and it seems popular with the locals. We chose to go there the second time instead of Wetherspoons, which we had visited earlier in the week - much better value...
Read moreMy wife, my dog and myself visited here while on a little break on the Llyn Peninsula. Having been turned away from the Weather spoons just around the corner for having a dog with us, we were recommended Cafi Sol as they were dog friendly. What we didn't know is how dog friendly they actually are. Before we had even ordered our dog, Jett had fusses from the waiting staff and had two whole sausages cut up for him and presented in a little bowl just for him. He was absolutely in his element. As a human who visits lots of cafes and eateries all over the country, I tolerate a lot for the sake of a good feed. However, if you treat my dog well and welcome him, you're almost guaranteed a five star review. We ordered the large full Welsh breakfast. The presentation and service was impeccable. The staff were lovely to us and our four legged friend and the food was absolutely brilliant. If I'm ever in the area again we will definitely be calling in...
Read moreNice little café with an even nicer outdoor seating area. Unfortunately inside seems a little cramped, but it is fine if you are just having a drink. If your staying for food, the food is nicely presented and tastes great, but it's the seating situation tends to help you enjoy your food a little less. They also serve ice cream which is great in the summer and there is a variety of flavors. Staff are great and really helpful, and there is an arcade attached to the café (within the same building) which can be noisy at times but great if your with kids. There is also a small fair just outside of the building too. It's situated close to local shops and has a big car park opposite the cafe. The car park is run by the local council and is only £1 for an hour, £2 for two hours, etc. I visit café sol regularly, and I will continue to do so as it's a nice place to go for an...
