The burger here was actually pretty good, and didn't take too long overall, and I would give it a decent review if it wasn't for the terrible customer service.
I've never been here before, and so pull up to the order terminal and waited. It took quite some time before anyone said anything, and I was about to move up to the first window, assuming the machine was unmanned. I was however eventually greeted by a young man hastily requesting my order, as per usual with drive throughs. The young man sounded frustrated, and gave me a bad impression from the outset, but I moved up to the next window once my order was placed.
I sat at the next window for some time, at which point 2 other cars had entered, placed they're order, pulled up behind me and switched off their engines. After waiting a while, my partner and I assumed that the window was unmanned, as there was nobody in sight, the window was closed, and it looked deserted, so we moved to the next window that was open.
At the next window, I quite politely said, "I'm sorry, I came to this window because I wasn't sure if the first one was manned as I was waiting a while." The young man said, in these exact words with quite an attitude about him, "you need to pay at window 1, you can't pay at window 2".
I said I'm really sorry, and that I couldn't now go back and the vehicle behind as obviously pulled up to window 1 at this point, and he replied, "well you have to LITERALLY bear with me, it's just me here, and I have to man both windows. Now you'll have to park and wait."
I did manage to pay at window 2 without issue, and parked up. Food came out promptly after, and I again apologised to the employee, thanked him, and told him to have a good new year. He walked off without saying anything.
Surely common sense should prevail here, and instead of having 1 employee run between 2 windows to both take orders, payment, and give out food, 1 of the windows should be closed and it all be completed at 1 point.
Regardless of his bad day, his disrespect was evident, and it is no excuse to talk to others in the manner he did myself. I doubt I'll be returning.
Also, I was given a soft drink lid for my coffee, but chose not to mention this for fear of being...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at the Burger King Cardiff bay, and I must say it was one of the best fast-food experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly service by Ethan, the assistant manager. His enthusiasm and genuine care for customer satisfaction were evident throughout my entire visit. Ethan took the time to patiently explain the menu options and make recommendations based on my preferences. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he was able to answer all of my questions with confidence. He even went the extra mile to customize my order to ensure that it was exactly to my liking. The star of the show, however, was the crispy chicken. It was perfectly cooked, with a crispy golden brown exterior and a juicy, flavorful interior. The chicken was seasoned just right, and it was a real treat to savor each bite. The crispy chicken sandwich was also a standout, with the crispy chicken, fresh lettuce, tomato, and a tangy sauce all coming together in perfect harmony. The entire dining experience was enjoyable, thanks to Ethan's exceptional service and the delicious food. I would highly recommend this Burger King to anyone looking for a quick and satisfying meal with friendly service and quality food. In addition to Ethan's outstanding service, I would also like to commend the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant. The tables were clean, the floors were swept, and the restrooms were well-maintained. This attention to detail speaks volumes about the pride that the staff takes in their work. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Burger King Cardiff bay, and I will definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal with friendly service and a clean and inviting atmosphere. Thank you, Ethan, for making my visit to Burger King an unforgettable one! I will...
