Called in while on a 4 night break locally. The bread is lovely and great quality, the vanilla slices are huge and delicious as are the strawberry tarts. We bought a large oggie and a large steak and potato pasty which were each both huge, each was filling enough for two people for a snack. The prices are dearer than your greggs etc but you pay for what you buy and the food here is well worth it. Very clean bakery/cafe. Lovely fresh bakes, you can purchase freshly made sandwiches, hot pies and pastries and a great mix of naughties. They also sell fresh loaves as well as hot or cold drinks and a selection of ice-cream! Perfect place to pop in after you've either taken your dog for a walk on talacre beach or to grab a little something before chillin on the beach watching the boats go by. Very reasonably priced. I visited the bakery yesterday, I brought a small piece of chocolate fudge cake, a curried chicken slice and a small pork pie. I was absolutely shocked when the staff member said the total had come to £17.45. Really disgraceful prices. I will never set foot in this bakery again. It ruined the end of our day, my son was so upset when he realized that it tasted no better than a pork pie he brought locally for under £5.00. No prices anywhere, you'd think the food was gold plated at those prices. Worst bakery I've...
