Today, we were drawn to trying this coffee shop because of the peanut butter cup coffee and hot chocolate currently being offered! The atmosphere is quiet, even when busy but always welcoming . It's not the first time we have stopped in. The food and cakes are overpriced for what it is, but we came for the coffee and the hot chocolate. The peanut butter cup hot chocolate was awesome, not too sweet, nutty, and thoroughly enjoyable. Well worth the money. The peanut butter cup latte, however, was incredibly sweet and cloying, making it hard work to drink the coffee. It's such a shame, but meh, it is what it is. Great location next to the river. Always good for sitting out on a sunny day, even when wrapped up. Inside is comfortable and old world style with a modern twist. Toilets are easily accessible. Friendly helpful staff..

Popped into Coffee#1 and ordered a oat latte and a lemon bun, oat latte was lovely! Inside is very cute, it used to be an old mill building so it still has the character with lots of the original features and different little seating sections. It is also dog friendly which is a huge plus for me 😊. Nice little seating area outside with a pretty view of the bridge and water front. Staff were really friendly, nice little place for a drink and food.

It's ok. The prices are over hyped on the food and drinks. The chairs are a bit battered too. Those seats need renewing. The rhubarb drink I had was nice but at £2.45 a can, it's more expensive than a pint of fine ale. Where do you get your prices from? Beggars belief.

22/8/2024 We visited Coffee 1 in Haverfordwest several years ago and enjoyed our visit. Sadly our visit today was not a repeat. Despite the number of staff behind the counter and the number of people waiting to be served the wait approached the unnecessarily long. I gave my order to one girl at the till and paid. Another girl retrieved the last bacon bap and a ham roll from the cabinet. The bacon bap was then dropped some 150mm onto the front counter. Shortly after it was picked up and thrown onto the rear countet. This apalling handling of the food in front of the customer is not acceptable. On collecting my tray with drinks only at the end of the counter I said to the male waiter “I would prefer not to have my food thrown around”. All I received in reply was a completely unintelligible and totally disinterested grunt! The food was delivered by someone else who did have a shred of customer service. I returned to the counter to order desserts. Standing waiting there I noticed several trays of pastries on the top sealed on three sides by a sheet of clingfilm type material. The rear side was completely open with a wasp and at least one fly having found their way in. Whilst consuming the dessert at our table opposite the side door we were joined by a pigeon who strolled in looking for any crumbs present on the floor. On deciding to use the toilet I found that the Gents was out of order still after three days according to a previous review. I used the disabled toilet and that had clearly not been cleaned for some time. All in all a very disappointing visit and one which will not be repeated. The owner of the establishment would do well to take note of the contents of these reviews and start a lot of staff training and customer courtesy otherwise he/she just might not have any customers....

The male barista working at 1430 on 29th May was exceptionally rude, sarcastic and frankly let Coffee #1 down. I entered the shop and he was slouched over. He gave very exaggerated and sarcastic greeting and then burst out laughing.

I had the app so told him I'd open it. 'Oh you're having the best day aren't you' he replied. Total sarcasm.

His female coworker looked around and quietly said 'you're coming over as so rude and sarcastic'. I interjected and said 'yeah he really is. I don't know if he thinks he's funny but he's really not doing a good job.'

He laughed embarrassed but didn't apologise.

This worker is a disgrace.

I am a regular at the Bristol branches but what I found on Haverfordwest suggests standards are way way down compared to...
