Really enjoyed my experience here. Staff are incredibly friendly, want to ask you about your day and if they can do anything additional to help your visit. The decor and design of the shop is very modern and clean, they cater for large groups and animals and it feels like they’ve been able to create the nice modern coffee shop style with a homely feel. They offer and array of dishes to cater for most pallets and have an ample water station to satisfy any walkers/hikers needing a pit stop before heading off. Coffee was nice albeit a little weak, but everything else more than made it up for it. I sat in although takeaway is an option and I’m sure would be as nice. Definitely recommend as one of the best coffee shops in the area that we tried.

A Truly splendid coffee shop. Dog friendly as you can tr) from their logo. This is actually quite a large coffee shop and they needed the space as it was very busy (1st of Jan 2024). *Credit to the staff working that day, I've never seen such a bustling coffee shop but the staff handled it all sk well. They even have a tidy outdoor stead area both out back and in front. Delicious coffee and the best mocha I've ever had. They have toasties and pastries with vegan options too. Fair pricing and easy to find on the high street. If you're looking for a good coffee shop, you've found a great one.

A new kid on the block and whilst Abergavenny isn’t exactly lacking purveyors of caffeinated drinks and accompaniments this is evidently a worthy addition. The coffi is nice, black and strong like my soul. The pastries look well tidy but as I’m on a diet sampling will have to wait. Staff are friendly and enthusiastic, it is after all only the 2nd day of opening. It’s billing itself as dog friendly but as a cat person I can’t really comment on that. Keep it up & I’ll be back to sample some of them sugary delights. 👍

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Coffi Lab in Abergavenny, and I can confidently say that my experience was exceptional, thanks in large part to Owain Harris. From the moment I entered the café, Owain's warm smile and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home.

Owain took the time to listen to my coffee preferences and expertly crafted a perfect cup just for me. His knowledge about coffee truly stood out, and it was evident that he is passionate about his craft. The coffee was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, showcasing his attention to detail.

What impressed me the most was Owain's commitment to customer service. He engaged in thoughtful conversation, making recommendations based on my tastes and even sharing interesting stories about the different coffee origins. It’s rare to find someone who combines skill and friendliness so effortlessly, and I left feeling not only satisfied but also uplifted.

If you’re ever in Abergavenny, I highly recommend stopping by Coffi Lab and experiencing the magic that Owain Harris brings to the table. His passion for coffee and genuine care for his customers make for a wonderful, memorable visit. Thank you, Owain, for your outstanding service! Keep up...

Lovely coffee and a great selection of delicious cakes. Very nice vibe to the place, but the best thing is this is a VERY dog friendly coffee shop. From bowls of water strategically placed throughout to doggie treats at the counter, our four legged friends are actively encouraged to pop in for a catch up and a rest.

The shop is spacious and airy, with plenty of room. There is also a lovely little sun trap of a courtyard at the rear to sit in.

The quality of the coffee is excellent, and the staff are cheerful and very friendly. This is one of my very favourite places to relax and watch the world go by.

The only design fault is that the serving counter is situated in the very middle of the shop, at the narrowest point. If you are queuing for your drink there are people asking if they can pass by you to get to the seating at the back of the shop. Maybe the counter could be moved to a wider area?

But that is just a very minor criticism of what is a great coffee shop. Pay it a visit - you won't be...
