Mezze Me — Restaurant in Wales

What a delightful restaurant! We went to Mezze Me as a small group for lunch, and ordered a selection of mezze to share, it definitely did not disappoint! We had a variety of dishes which were plentiful and flavoursome, especially the Sucuk in a delicious sauce (mopped up with plenty of bread!) The calamari was cooked to perfection and every other dish was fresh and full of flavour. The atmosphere was great, we ordered a bottle of the house red to share as recommended by the very knowledgeable lady working front of house, she also recommended a soft drink of white grape and apricot which was really refreshing! Phoned to enquire opening hours and possible booking this afternoon. Was told that they were very busy buy the tables outside were available from 6pm when the restaurant opened. Was told it was first come first served for the outside tables. We arrived before six and placed ourseles at an empty table for two at 5.50pm. At six we realised the restaurant was open as a fellow diner was complaining about his cold coffee. On enquiring inside we were told, bluntly, that the tables outside were all booked and that we were earlier given the wrong information. Attended Mezzo Me with my folks today. The starters of Sausage and Smoked Aubergine were very good, as was the Chicken Shish and Minced Lamb kebab. However, the Lamb Chops my Mum ordered were overcooked. When we made the waiter aware of this his reply was a short "OK". No apology at all. The meal was rather overpriced, especially the 2 small soda waters equating to £3.80. My Father and I enjoyed the food, but my Mum was disappointed, both with the food and the aloof attitude...
