What a shame - I had the worst carbonara I've ever had and my girlfriend had a very average baked pasta dish, both of which were garnished with some random sticks poking out of the top, mine with a couple of random lines of balsamic drizzle and what appeared to be spots of tomato sauce.. Very bizarre! If they focused on actually cooking a decent dish instead of pointless garnish they might be able to execute the basics of Italian cooking!

I complained (something I rarely do) and they took 20% off my dish, which I tried to pick the pasta out with whilst avoiding the grease, but frankly I don't think I should have paid anything for it (see picture!).

The service was nice enough, the wine menu seemed to offer a good range and the place was quite nice inside.

But it wasn't worth the time and effort to visit as the food was rubbish - we will avoid in future.

Also, the prices listed online don't match the prices in the restaurant...

Saddened to share this review. Usually a go to place for me and my family, however me and my husband visited on a Friday early evening. It wasn't busy. We ordered two pizzas and soft drinks with table water. Many people came after us, ate and left and we still hadn't had our order. We asked three times where our food was. When the pizzas came they were ok but nothing special. Tasteless and disappointing for what we paid. The table water tasted stale aswell, so we didn't want to drink it. Food was less than mediocre, scallops were tiny , overcooked and dry and not enjoyable’ the main of chicken and mushrooms- also over cooked chicken. , no flavour & the roast potatoes were undercooked. service initially when first arriving was friendly from the waiter, but become hurried and we were rushed to leave. Couldn’t sit and relax as they were clearing and setting up table for next guests before we had even finished our drinks. After asking for the bill we were very rushed and approached at lest 4 times to settle up. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be going back.
