I've previously always had mocha in Cortile Coffee, which has been very nice, but I usually have iced lattes elsewhere. I wasn't aware Cortile had them, so upon seeing a couple of people leaving with iced lattes, I opted to have one to drink in. It arrived looking like a glass of milk, no colour to it whatsoever. I asked if it had coffee in it, the girl said she'd forgotten. She returned with a jug and poured in the tiniest dribble of coffee. I stirred the glass, it still looked and tasted only of milk. I asked for an extra shot, but had pay an additional 60p. The drink still tasted of nothing but milk. Although I'd been told I could have another shot free of charge, I was too embarrassed to ask by this point.
The takeaway lattes had been the expected light brown colour, so I don't know why theirs were so different to mine - maybe the glass held more milk than the takeaway cups?
I will return because the cafe is lovely and the staff are friendly, but that was sadly the worst iced latte I've ever had, so I will stick to...

Read moreGreat coffee shop. I purchased some coffee beans, and two different teas. The teas are amazing but I have yet to try the coffee. Friendly staff who are keen to give advise.
The pricing for tea and coffee is reasonable. The only small gripe I had was a tea pot I had purchased. 2 cup pot was £20 from £22. Out of curiosity I popped online later on to see most places sell them for £13. I'm not sure on their business model for this but that is a big difference. An extra bag of coffee difference. I understabd that online retailers are often cheaper but not that cheaper. Anyway the pot is great so I'm not too hurt over that :) 😀
UPDATE The coffee was lovely. I love a strong coffee and this gives that without the bitterness as said by the lady working there. Also thanks for...
