Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

Costa new drive thru Caerphilly, worse ever customer service ever. Waited 20 minutes to get served as x3 staff served 1 customer. When I commented to manager that this was not good customer service I was told to leave and never return. I assured him that I had no intentions whatsoever of returning. In my opinion when you have 8 persons waiting to be served and the 3 staff just chat and have a no urgency attitude , it’s not good enough. The attitude of the manager that you should just accept it with no criticism is again unacceptable. If you offer criticism when you’ve waited for 20 minutes, your asked to leave and not to come back. If this is the attitude and ethics of Costa coffee (Costa lot for coffee) then happily I will take my custom elsewhere. When you have a good product , good customer service to sell it is imperative. Went in with my family to buy festive drinks only 2 staff in shop they could not keep up with customers continuously pulling face coverings down to talk to each other then shouted at customers to move back as shop was getting too full I understand the 2 metre issue because of covid but there should have been more staff on hand to sort out the queuing system then once we had paid over £18 on 3 drinks I went to drink my festive after 8 hot chocolate ro find it was cold and my wife's drink was also cold guess I won't be visiting Costa for a while if again not the first time this Costa has fallen below standards ill stick ti the drive through one in caerphilly in future much better service and hot drinks to go too sorry but wouldn't rate a 1 star for this visit this time but had to put at least a star on for me too leave...

Cosy Costa in central location. Has always been quite busy when I've visited but has outdoor seating for sunny days. Unfortunately when I was served the cashier accidentally cashed off my order so then had to refund everything on the till individually before pop putting my order through again. This didn't bother me as I was in no rush but did delay the service of everybody who had been queueing behind me. This always seems to happen when I pay with a gift card.
