I had an absolutely amazing experience with your restaurant this weekend. I'm ceoliac and really fancied a Chinese. I had spent so long searching for a Chinese take away that could provide allergen information and everywhere we called locally we're CLUELESS about food ingredients & could not provide this information (dispite this being required by law). Not only did you know about your ingredients in your dishes. You also told us that you used potato starch to make your battered chicken in your sweet and sour chicken, you also made our chicken and black bean with out the soysauce and it tasted amazing.... On top of that you informed us what days you use separate fryers and what days are best as a ceoliac to buy from you. We've found our favourite Chinese takeaway/ restaurant. Thank you.

Went here at the weekend after googling an all u can eat Chinese restraunt. The food was really good the problem like others who have reviewed here is the all you can eat part. Had a mediocre soup. Appertisers were amazing but was rushed through to the crispy duck. We thought ok we can order extra duck. We were then told the all you can eat is not on the duck so we thought only on the mains. Everything is cooked fresh and brought to your table. When the mains arrived the portions are tiny. 3 king prawns in one dish. 4 small pieces of chicken in another. So when we finished we ordered more. That's when the mood changed the waitress then snatched the menus out of my hand and walked off. It was like how dare you order more. The ice cream is bad loads of ice in it like it had been there for ages. And no fresh fruit as advertised. Bravo to the chef the food is good. But the service makes you feel uncomfortable and not able to order more. I left feeling not content and a bit angry at...

Me and my family are regulars at Eastern Red. Tonight food was great as it always is. However, waitress tonight dropped a tray of drinks which when they hit the floor the drinks splashed up all over me and my son and all of the food. No one came over to ask if we were okay. After this we left and when paying the bill I asked for some money off due to being soaked. I was made out to be a liar when I asked for some money off. The waitress told the lady in charge that she had asked if we were okay and we said yes. Also that the drinks just went over the floor and no where else. No that really didn’t happen, my son and I got soaked and no one came to ask if we were okay. The table next to us was asked this question but that’s only because it was theiir drinks that had been dropped. Not only was I made out to be a liar, I ate my food whilst being all soaked down my right side and also my son. All they could offer was £5 off. Absolutely...

We had a takeaway from here several months ago and I would give that 5* no problem. Great food with generous portion sizes.

The dine in experience unfortunately didn't match it. The only menu option is the 'All you can eat for £18.50'. Pretty good, you might think, but the service was so extraordinarily slow I began to wonder if it was a deliberate ploy to stop you from ordering more. The food itself was nice, although my sweet and sour chicken was an insultingly small portion- it had about 4 pieces of chicken in it. If course, with it being 'All you can eat' you might wonder why I didn't simply order more, but at this point it was 9:30pm, and we had taken out seats at 6:15.... not only were the kids ready for bed, everyone was getting a little grumpy.

The Indian a few doors down was much nicer in my opinion.

Long story short- very good takeaway, reasonable food, poor...
