Stoped in for lunch on Saturday with my mum. Found a table, decided what we wanted, there was no mention that there was a wait for food. A server came over to take the order but we were quickly told that what I wanted wasn’t available. After changing my order I explained that I had an allergy to Onions which seemed to cause some confusion. We then proceeded to wait 40 minutes, whilst overhearing other people arrive after us be told there was at least a 30 minute wait for food. We then had to go an ask where the food was, to which we told they had been very busy and that there was a delay on food. 5 minutes later my mums toastie arrived with an apology from the server that there had been an error with the order and that the other meal would be out soon. 10 minutes later my food arrived…..a greedy soggy pile of cheese in toast on school dinner plate(see photo) all other meals had come out on lovely wooden boards with crisps and salad! When we questioned this we were told that it was just the way it was served by an extremely rude server. Another server pointed out that they we would not need to pay for the meals in a none to pleasant manner. We said we would no be paying for the two drinks we had had either because the service had been so bad and proceeded to leave. I stoped to take a photo of the cafe name, just as my mum saw one of the servers putting two fingers up at me through the window! Safe to say I would not recommend this cafe to anyone, the staff are absolutely horrendous and it’s the food even worse. Completely ruined what was supposed to be a lovely trip out with my mum. I’d I could give...

Wow compliments to the chef for 1/2 a wonderful meal. BUT the worst experience I have had in a very long time. We were not informed of the long delay over 40 mins, the food did not come out at the same time I had finished mine before my daughter had a school Plate of raw cheese on warm bread thrown down in front of her without an apology. We had already had to ask about the wait to be told they were really busy with take outs. Another customer was told there Was an error with our order. We still don’t know what that was!! All the food was presented beautifully on wooden boards with crisp’s and salad when I questioned why my daughter had a school dinner plate with no trimmings I was aggressively told that’s what it was. However one of staff agreed with me to only be shut up by another staff member who had eaten her lunch in full view of us while we were waiting for ours, amazing maybe not so busy!!! We did not pay for the meals as they decided not to charge us but we’re asked to pay for drinks to which we refused. By now there were 3 staff talking at us very intimidating and when my daughter stopped to take a photo of the outside one of them decided to swear and make hand gestures towards which I saw whilst looking back. Honestly supporting local businesses isn’t always a good idea. Prior to us leaving two other customers had also left due to the attitude...

this has been our 'go to' cafe in Mold. Its always been a good choice...until last Saturday . Arrived at 2.30pm, to be met with ' we aren't serving lunch now' ok, ......fine. we weren't after lunch but did notice the menu stated it was served until 3.30pm. we ended up ordering coffees and a couple of scones. the waitress eventually came over, took our order and asked if we wanted jam and cream. yes we did, thanks . coffee came, then around 10 minutes later the scones arrived, very average but ok. music went off in the cafe and there was that feeling that they didn't want you there. We got the hint, and went to pay the bill which we had never received. £23.65 for 3 coffees and 2 scones. unfortunately my husband paid it before i could query/ask for a receipt. i noticed we had been charged £3.50 for the scone, then a further £2.40 each for a small helping of jam and cream! nothing states this on the menu and when i queried it, the young waitress replied 'yes a lot of people query it, but then there are a lot of prices not on the menu!!!! trading standards need to check this place out!! it just wasn't as it used to be. it may only be £4.80, but if you do that every day to every customer, it surely needs to be...

Found this little gem by accident but will definitely be going back! It's a small friendly ran cafe with a well put together menu that offers a small but diverse very tasty menu, everything is made to order so is lovely and fresh...what they make, they make incredible well! There's alternative milk for those with allergies or vegans! Value for money! Can't reccomend this place highly enough. Also while you eat have a look around there's some amazing art on the walls that you can buy. Oh as a bonus its also dog friendly....what more could you want!

Food was 10/10! We shared two grazing boards between six girls and had one mini plate each and was more than enough! Really good value for money as the food was very tasty. We all had the 2 for 1 cocktails and the selection was amazing. We all tried each others and said we said they were the best cocktails we’ve ever had! Highly recommend! Really nice atmosphere as there was a live singer & the waitress staff were really friendly & helpful. The outside area is also really cute! Will definitely be coming back ! X
