Ellie's Cafe — Restaurant in Wales

My first visit and wow. Great car park, disabled space, EV charging point, benches outside. The interior design is top quality and a real gem of a find! This whole set up is built for the future and a lot of money has been invested into every aspect of it. The server was friendly and efficient and our food was quick and well presented. My latte was awful, bean to cup and I'm not certain if milk or powdered milk? I personally did not like the brown sauce and prefer the leading brand, ( my opinions but subjective as someone else might like the latte and sauce ). My wife said the toilets were very good. My husband and I had just finished moving our daughter's things into her new home. We returned the van to Cwmbran van hire and realised we were really hungry. We spotted Ellie's and raced in for food. The decor is lovely and it had a welcoming atmosphere. Within 15 minutes of entering, we had our food and drinks in front of us, despite the fact they were quite busy. My cheeseburger and milkshake were lovely and my husband's egg, chips and beans hit the spot. The staff were friendly and we had a nice little chat before we left. I thought I'd try this place out for breakfast; I wasn't disappointed! The cafe is very clean, tables are spotless, and attention to detail was obvious. Sausages were tasty; black pudding was cooked perfectly; bacon was not too crisp but just right. I had scrambled eggs for a change instead of fried eggs, all cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly, helpful, and asked me during my meal if everything was OK, which shows that customer satisfaction is on their list. 5-star rating on food hygiene. Very good quality food...
