Il Panino — Restaurant in Wales

Poped on for a light lunch. Nice people, reasonable selection of fare. My better half ordered a salad, what came was great , good quality and lots of it. My jacket potato with coronation chicken was not so great, the coronation chicken was the worst I've ever tasted and the potato was watery and tasteless. After a couple of mouthfuls I couldn't fight my trough any more and left it. It put me off any more food so didn't see the point of complaining at the time. The venue replied to my review statingvthat I cleared my plate, I can assure you that I did not! I was very hungary but did not finish even one half of the spud. It was watery and the coronation chicken was foul. I certainly did not finish my plate as stated...

We have been spending a lot of time in Bridgend recently and this is a gem of a discovery. We had coffee and croissants on Saturday afternoon with a classic car show going on around the town centre. The food was excellent and the coffee was among the best I have ever had. Sitting out the front in the sun you are in a nice aphnosphere and in my veiw this coffee shop can rival any of the ones in the popular...

Absolutely wonderful place. Popped in for a bacon butty and a cuppa one morning and then headed back for lunch too....with the kids in tow. Service was impeccable and had a lovely chat with the owners about this difficult time. Please support local, these guys are amazing. We will be back....and soon.
