Island Grill — Restaurant in Wales

Tried this take away by chance as there was two other similar shops nearby. I ordered Lamb Donna & chips. The food quality was excellent, lamb was perfect, not dripping in fat it was lovely and tender with a nice salad. The only thing I was disappointed with was the chilli sauce. It tasted like a curry. It had to be a home made sauce made up of a mixture of chilli and curry powder, which did not seem right. Maybe it's a local favourite in the area but it's a no from me. I'm a European truck driver I used to frequent Barry 7 years ago on a regular basis with my last job and tbh the take aways wasn't that good I stumbled on island grill tonight read the reviews and I've got to say without question the mixed grill I've just received is top draw I wouldn't hesitate to order again it was over the phone for delivery the staff was helpful and the delivery driver was very polite and no ridiculous delivery charge myself am greatful for there service Im just a lil gutted I don't get down this way to often these days belly full ready for bed now bravo...

Food ok but customer sevice is terrible. They rush you along, i asked for no coleslaw with the burger and they got very defensive saying they don't do coleslaw with the burgers which is fair enough, but they could simply say instead of getting angry. Didn't ask if we wanted salt and vinegar on the chips before putting it on, And just a general rude tone. Kebab a bit bland but fine if you're hungry.
