Jenkins Bakery — Restaurant in Wales

The floor was very dirty, when we offered to actually clean them ourselves we were told no, and that they don't clean until the shop is closed. It was dirty here before COVID but to be still not cleaning and leaving tables unwiped is not acceptable. Also had to keep getting up from the table (which I was trying to avoid due to COVID safety for everyone around us) and asking for extra items that were initally requested but not given e.g. knife and fork with the custard slice, milk with the tea, napkins, spoon with the hot chocolate. The custard slice was also given on a saucer, which was actually smaller than the actual custard slice?? very strange. The toilets were not very clean either. We were there during a quiet period and some cleaning should have been taking place, dread to think what the back of the bakery is like if this is what they are willing to present to the customers.

We visited area and decided to have a breakfast here. It's a bakery and a coffee shop. If you want to sit in you have to order at the till near the tables. Tills opposite the entrance are for food on the go. We had a tasty breakfast and good coffee. We also bought meal deal ( they have a vast selection of baguettess and sandwiches ). Staff was very friendly and helpful. We came back the next day for a breakfast and one of the ladies remembered us from a day before and came to us to greet us. The place seems to be quite busy around breakfast time and I'm not surprised as their food is delicious. They sell bread, rolls, pies, cakes and much more. It's hard...

At 9.25 this morning I popped into this branch and paid for a roll and a coffee the original member of staff who served me was great . While I was waiting for my coffee another member of staff asked if I’d been served and I said I’m just waiting for my coffee . This was her response ‘ no point looking over at the coffee machine it won’t make it come any quicker we’ve only got one machine ???? I’m totally shocked at how this member of staff thinks she can get away with talking to a paying customer in this way . I certainly won’t be going back there and advise others to do the...
