My partner went in for the phantom frappuccino today. A woman was in front of us was ordering the same. The young girl gave an a look of exasperation and gave a sigh that made my partner say to me that she didn't want to order it. I ordered it for her which was then met with sarcastic 'yay!phantom frappucino!' Not really the best way to receive a customer's order. My vegan partner then watched the young gentleman make it, she said to me that she thought he was making it with single cream. When he was questioned, he said yes it is vegan but for some reason the cream was single cream, which he found 'weird'. I'm pretty sure he did not have a clue how to make it and was winging it.    Read moreQuite possibly the worse Starbucks I've ever visited. It looks like an underfunded community centre inside, with a few old chairs and tables, strewn about the space with little thought to aesthetics or ambiance of the environment.
When I visited it was staffed by two people, both of whom operated so slowly, it caused the queue to build up massively. When I arrived, there were three people ahead of me. After 15 minutes there was still one person ahead of me. At that point, I decided to go elsewhere, and I would advise you to do the same.

   Read moreStarbuck as a mainstream brand I'm not fond of however the barista - Eden - is truly exceptional! I have never seen a member of staff at any Starbucks across the country that's so efficient. Even when I came in early hours in the morning half asleep, she was ready for her day, super warm and friendly, pretty good at a soft upsale and offering the loyalty card and as soon as there were no customers to serve, she was back to organising and cleaning the cafe floor!
