KFC Carmarthenshire — Restaurant in Wales

Shocking visit yesterday to Kfc cross hands. After happily queueing for 10 minutes behind 5 cars I ordered 3 meals, I requested legs and was told I’d have to wait 5 mins for, which was fine.

At the next counter I was passed the drinks and told to wait in the hatched area outside the car park. I asked for tomato sauce and extra napkins, instead of being given them I was told they would be in the bag.

10 mins later after seeing other cars behind me leave, I notice someone going car to car with a bag of food which no one was accepting. As he was obviously not told that I was asked to park outside the car park, I had to beep the horn several times to get his attention.

I was then asked to confirm my order, which was checked off by the member of staff checking the bag. Frustrated as a quick pit stop turning into almost half an hour, we left.

As the food was shared out, it was clear that one of the meals was completely wrong, there were no napkins at all or sauce and to top it off the legs we waited for were only in one meal.

Raging as we were half to Carmarthen I rang the branch several times only to get the answer machine. In the end I left 2 very irate messages explaining the mistakes and left my name and number for them to call me back. I’ve still not heard anything the next day..

We stopped at Macdonald’s at Carmarthen to get food we wanted and napkins which are essential with hand food.

While we all accept that drive throughs especially KFC can be under pressure at times and patience is given. To get issues with orders and requests when they are clearly asked for, acknowledged and extra time requested is not acceptable. Especially when you will be some distance away before you discover the issue.

KFC’s mantra is Finger Licking Good.. so how could they ever forget to even put in a napkin 🤦🏻‍♂️

As I can’t speak to anyone I now have to use my time to go back...

Beautiful food but scary happenings

I entered the new and modern restaurant expecting nothing but a shed load of calories and fats to fill my belly. I quickly ordered myself a family bargain bucket and sat down. After enjoying my delicious caged chicken which probably had a worse life than Fo I went to the toilet to make further room for an ice cream. This was when the troubles began. I sat down happily and realised something odd. An odd smell began to fill the air. Before I knew it there was a man attacking my toilet door, I stood to my feet promptly and opened the door. To my amazement there was a short fat man about 4ft high screaming at me to get out. I listened to him and removed my person from the toilet. The man rushed into the toilet and began to yell. It was not long till he came back out and I kid you not HE WAS HOLDING A BABY. The man had just given birth to a baby. I thought this day couldn’t get weirder until I noticed there was a goats head on the baby?!?! Human body! Goats head!

I seriously suggest using other WC rather than the ones in the restaurant. Some serious black magic going on...

My partner and I had a nice experience in KFC until a minor mistake got blown out of proportion. I am not normally one to write reviews, however when the manager of the store is screaming at his staff and making rude comments about myself and my partner for a mistake he made I have to say something. The error in question was that we ordered 1x spicy mini wrap and 1x BBQ mini wrap. We were given 2x spicy mini wraps so took one back and asked if it was possible to have it changed. When the lovely girl behind the counter went back to explain to the manager, he decided to scream at her that he did not make any errors and that we had just ordered wrong. The whole restaurant could hear this happening. When we received the correct wrap it was squished, ripped and had so much sauce in it that it was inedible. We did not complain about this as we knew it would cause more harm than good. Whilst this is speculation, it felt this was done out of anger as he believed we were in the wrong. Honestly it just put a dampener on our evening and having someone in management screaming and acting like a petulant child...
