King's Cafe at the Talyllyn Railway — Restaurant in Wales

The only place in Tywyn where I have been made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Visited with friends who are blind, I too am blind The cafe was busy and we couldn’t work out if there were any tables free. Nobody, staff and patrons alike, attempted to help us apart from when we turned to leave when we were told to use the one way system in a somewhat unfriendly manner. Gluten-free (coeliac safe!) breakfast was delicious and good value for money. Staff were helpful and didn't mind me asking questions about the risk of gluten contamination etc.

Was lovely to eat breakfast and be able to see/smell the trains getting ready to depart.

I'll get the only negative out of the way first: the service here is really slow. I mean REALLY SLOW. But, once the food arrives, it's great and reasonably priced too.
