As you can see from the photo we were pleased with the breakfasts. Never had bacon so thick. We discovered this little gem on first morning of our 4 day stay in Barry and returned every day. Not just because of the pretty decor or the locally sourced produce, but because the owners were so kind, friendly and accomodating. They gave our son and ice-cream on the house on our first day, which I'm sure was just encouragement for him to eat up. We returned on our last day with my parents and they pimped all of our breakfasts with extra bacon. Great little place, lovely staff, we will back one day!

Such a great experience 😍 Such a calming, homely and welcoming atmosphere. The idea behind opening this coffee was heart melting. The staff members were really friendly, food was absolutely delicious, quick service. I love visiting places that support the local community. The owners of the coffee sell lots of little handmade crafts and the money goes to Parkinson’s charities. Also they have available organic drinks such as turmeric and ginger shots. Highly recommended

It looked the most inviting of the cafes in Barry and we were not disappointed. Shabby chic with low level music from the 1960s. It was obvious from the welcome we got that Richard that he is a great host and loves his cafe. We only wanted to share a panini but we given two plates and extra chips, all beautifully presented. First rate cafe. I wish we had something like this near our home.

Excellent service!

Came here this morning around 8am, ten mins in the cafe unfortunately had a power cut - luckily the chef said he was still ok to continue making our food. We lit some candles and played Christmas songs on our phone, they were very unapologetic but was an unforeseen circumstance - they were so friendly and polite through it all.

The food came and was absolutely delicious, we will most certainly visit again. We finished our food to let them get on with sorting their slight issue, when we came to pay the gent said that the food was free and we didn't have to pay!

Amazing service from such an amazing cafe, please make sure you visit!

Thanks...

We have visited this cafe four times recently, yesterday with the grandchildren. This place is fantastic, the food is excellent, good quality and reasonably priced. All the staff without doubt are extremely pleasant and polite, caring and professional, you are always made to feel very welcome, nothing is too much trouble. You never wait long for the food which when it comes is hot, fresh and plentiful. I would recommend this premises to anyone and feel it is the best in the area. Well...
