A difficult task to review such a renowned establishment. But as ethics dictate, this review must be seen in the context of its peers (other fast food chains). From a pure food perspective, the menu is reasonably diverse for fast food and there is a range of vegan and vegetarian options, in addition to options fit for other non self-imposed dietary requirements. The highlight from “McDonald’s” (not to be confused with MacDonalds, the independent furniture store which operated in York, UK, between 1947 and 2015) is always the milkshakes for me. I know I am not alone in this opinion yet the machine seldom functions correctly leaving people milkshakeless (this is in all McDonalds every time including today’s visit to Llandudno junction). Despite this, there are never any issues with the McFlurry machine which to my surprise seems to be wholly independent of the milkshake making process. Anyway, the ordering process is fast and human interaction free which makes for a quick and easy process. Your two digit order comes up on a screen which is great but you need to keep your eyes peeled.

It's a McDonald's. What is there to say? Drive through or eat in. The touchscreens are amazingly wonderful when you're autistic, especially when the kids are making choices. Obviously the children think the place is one of the best things ever, especially with the interactive tablets and so on, and free WiFi, to keep them entertained. Food is invariably disappointing and very limp compared to photos, and staggeringly high calorie, but, again, the children think it's amazing. Editing this to add that I've just noticed how ridiculous the 'accessible' parking is. There's only hashes on one side of one of the two spaces, and no dropped kerb, so in a wheelchair you'd have to go down the road that leads to car park and drive through, that's often jammed at peak times, to get onto the zebra crossing and into the building.

Visited on a Thursday lunchtime and surprised how quiet it was. Was served quite quickly and ordered two meals. Noticed that the courier and drive through orders were moving quickly. After waiting fifteen minutes I asked where my order was only to be told it had probably been given to someone else! I had to explain what I had ordered and then waited another ten minutes and quess what, the chips were cold and they had forgotten the two latte's. The quarter pounders were greasy and the bun had absorbed most of it, see photo. We were so fed up I didn't take anything back I just wanted to get out of the place. They seem to cater for the drive through and courier orders at the expense of the stay in diners. Certainly won't be visiting this Mackies again!

McDonald's is a noisy place to eat in, loud music, loud bleeping sounds, cooking utensil sounds and loud chatting from people. It could do with more of a restaurant environment a quiteish environment and more private. I understand it's just a fast food place so I very often eat out rather than eat in at McDonald's. Also I see no point whatsoever at the drive through for those environment destroying speak through machines to order your food, and they often break or it's difficult to hear each other. What's the difference if you just have a person standing there taking your orders if they are standing there taking orders anyway behind a speak through device. Why waste earth's resources on making those pointless things, they are not quicker and in fact slower to order your food due to poor sound quality. Save the planet and get rid of them all. Also get rid of those self ordering devices in McDonald's too they are a waste and earth destroying device, instead people can use their mobile phones to order and pay before or...

Pretty poor experience here. We use McD's fairly frequently around the country, and this is not a great one. Service was very slow. When we arrived they were almost empty, bonus I thought, but after 20 minutes waiting for our food to come out the dining area was full of people waiting for food. They were definitely focusing on the drive through orders as it was at least 4:1 drive through orders walked out to eat in orders and at point much worse. Looking at the order counter food was overflowing out of the warmer and onto the food preparation counters where they aren't kept warm as they had simply run out of space to put the prepared burgers etc. When our order finally was called out I headed to our table to find items missing e.g. the BBQ double quarter pounder. The food was typical McD but the quarter pounder was barely cooked through. I didn't complain as I couldn't face another 25 minute wait. We...
