While I appreciate the ambiance and waterfront view at Morawelon Waterfront Bar & Restaurant, I must admit my disappointment with the quality of the fish and chips. The fish lacked freshness and tasted watery, while the batter was overly greasy, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the dish. Additionally, the chips were overcooked and lacked flavor, resembling something you might find in a school cafeteria rather than a quality dining establishment. Despite these shortcomings, the atmosphere and location of the restaurant remain noteworthy.

Great location right on the water in Parrog where you can walk along the low tide coastal walk either before or after you eat. We shared a fish and chips. Cod was excellent, batter was light and crispy. Chips were good. Friendly staff. Casual, clean, dog-friendly. Outdoor seating as well.

I came from Japan. I had fish and chips and a vegetarian cake. It was amazing. The staff are so friendly and kind. The view from the window is magnificent!!

The wife (no comments please !!) and I took her parents and brother for lunch whilst they were visiting. Both parents are wheelchair users so accessibility is key. On booking we made Morawelon aware of this and were told it was not a problem. On arrival we had direct access to our table and had lots of room for the two wheelchairs. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. The meu whilst not the biggest did give us a decent selection and everyone enjoyed their food. In addition they were also able to cater for special dietary needs which was superb. It was also really good to see accessible toilets. All in all we had a really nice lunch which our parents really enjoyed...

Popped in here with a group of 9 for a chippy tea on the beach on a glorious day. Firstly, seriously impressed with their being vegan options for once, meaning my husband and I got to have some protein (sausages) with our chips. Despite it being very busy the staff were calm, polite, and unflustered, managing the queue to keep all customers happy. The chips were absolutely perfect - crispy on the outside and soft in the middle without being soggy or greasy. The location is amazing, with a garden behind, more benches in front, or you can simply walk down onto the beach like we did. And there were even vegan magnums for dessert. I would highly recommend this place if...

This establishment was reccomended to my wife and I whilst walking around Dinas headland by someone we met on the walk. Having sampled a local chip shop a several days earlier which I can only describe the food as appalling we felt it was worth a try. We were not disappointed. We can honestly say that they were the best fish and chips we have ever eaten. The chips were crisp, perfectly cooked and not at all greasy. The fish was served with a crispy batter and again not at all greasy. We took them back to Cwm-yr-eglwys to eat and they were still piping hot when we arrived at the cottage and a single portion was more than ample for the two of...
