Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Wales

I come here very often as its very convenient with a baby when needing to do a shop & close parking. The breakfast is always fine and you can't really knock it for price and on most occasions there are two members of staff who are helpful and polite.

I arrived this week for my usual before a shopping trip & the cups on the counter were all still dirty and by dirty I mean absolutely stinking dirty DEFINITELY had NOT been washed properly or pre washed before shoving in the dishwasher. Pink lipstick marks on a them , coffee still in cups dried sugar all around the rim etc - you get the gist of it. I said politely to the woman on the till oh I think these cups are still abit dirty , have they been cleaned yet or shall I wait and she simply did not answer but gave me a disgusting look on response and then talked to another member staff about me infront of me whilst I stood with my baby. I was more upset with the member of staff and her rude behaviour rather than the actual cups being absolutely vile . When my breakfast was bought over she couldn't even talk to me yet I still said my thankyou's politely then to top it off I watched two people bring the cups being dirty to her attention in the queue and she didn't even check the cups when I bought it up her behaviour was appalling for someone working in customer service and now I wonder how hygienic it actually is to eat in the cafe if they can't even be bothered to...

Dirty cutlery, cold food, never any milk, dirty tables. It can be good, but not often, one or two good workers. Could be a top cafe, replace staff for people that do more than wander around doing nothing. UPDATE... 20.10.21....BIG IMPROVEMENT BUT.... food is NOT hot enough... Staff are definitely better and food presentation is vastly improved. But hot food please and full selection of sandwiches and cakes.... 12:1:22 UPDATE... clean and tidy, staff now have a purpose and it shows... Happy days. 🌟🌟🌟🌟👍 EVEN BETTER NOW.. 5 September 2022 update. GONE TOO THE DOGS YET AGAIN... TOTAL APATHY AND COULDN'T CARE LESS ATTITUDE .. NO ONE AT THE TILL... TOTAL WAIST OF TIME, STAFF WANDERING AROUND... WHEN YOUR LUCKY TO SEE THEM.. ALL WAYS WAITING A LONG TIME AND STAFF IDLE. A FEW TIMES STAFF ARE BUSY, BUT FOOD IS EXTREMELY VAIRIABLE....

We've really tried to give this place a chance. Considering its part of a big company I would have thought this cafe would have higher standards. Everytime we come its in disarray. Vastly understaffed and the people working there don't seem to understand what they're doing, half the time something isn't working or the food is off and they just ask if you want to buy anything else instead of admitting to the mistake being on them and offering a refund. I've bought three meals from here on two occasions that haven't come with one of the items on the menu and no money has been taken off just another item of equipment blamed. Have always been spoken to rudely by staff but this may be due to poor management and the poor sods being so understaffed. Doubtful of any improvement as its been the same for the last 3 years and...
