Nando's Broughton Park — Restaurant in Wales

Bit of a disappointment.

Arrived at the restaurant and sat down to order food on the app. Signal was poor so connected to wifi to order. We spent just shy of £60.

We ordered 3 starters to share between the 3 of us and for main a whole platter for 2 and a halloumi and mushroom pitta.

Drinks came out super speedy which was nice and starters didn’t take long.

Where I felt we were let down was not long into eating the starters, a lady came over and didn’t speak just walked over and quite aggressively chucked the plater for 2 on the table so we turned around and looked quite shocked then she said “halloumi and mushroom” and thrusted it towards my partner to take it out of her hands.

Of course, there wasn’t any room on the table for our mains as we had only just started eating our starters so we had to juggle the table around whilst holding one of the mains.

The lady walked off leaving us to juggle. I felt the lady was rather rude, barely spoke, dumped our food and had no manners at all. We then had to go back up and ask for plates as usually the plater comes with 2 plates but we were expected to eat off the sharer plate which is full with food. So no where two people could comfortably eat and put their own sauces onto the plate etc.

I then visited the rest room. I was quite disgusted to be honest. The tiles are all smashed in and no access to toilet roll. The holders were all full but hadn’t been placed through the little access hole so no way of getting to it. I then went to the sink and there’s a dirty fork sat there and the sink is disgusting, looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for months. As you exit the toilet there’s dirt and dust all over the floor and then a table that was such a mess, it looks like the staff have been using it for their own belongings and junk, it just looked untidy and unprofessional. If this wasn’t the staffs belongings, they could’ve easily tidied up as some were just stood chatting.

Overall a disappointing experience. Food was okay but let down by all...

I've frequented a number of Nandos restaurants and have to say this has been the nicest so far. Staff are really friendly and welcoming, the store was clean and tidy and the food as always was delicious.

We were welcomed instantly, although we could see all servers were busy with other tables they acknowledged us straight away and were seated only a minute after entering the building, we had a pram with us so they sat us in an easier space for us to put the pram and because we didn't want to be in the way of anyone either.

Even though we've been to many Nandos chains they explained the process of ordering again with is always useful especially if you are a first timer. They even explained where the baby changing station was as well in case we needed it.

We ordered easily using the app and the glasses for drinks arrived almost instantly with a portion of our starters (Olives as they don't need cooking) About 10 minutes later our other starters arrived shortly followed by our mains. Looking back they were close together the arrival of all courses but I'm not docking a rating or really bothered by it so that's that really.

Food was delicious, I had a Fino pitta with peri chips and spicy rice with is always a recommendation from me. Medium heat as well. Not spicy but has a little kick which is always good.

All in all, a lovely experience for new parents trying to go out with a newborn and would visit again either though it isn't my...

So, we tried take-away again after my first time at Nando's take-away not being a pleasant experience...

I've taken a star away from my initial review after utterly dreadful service tonight.

So we ordered through my phone, for 6.20pm collection When to collect at 6.20pm, After being ignored for 10mins at the collection counter I approached the tills, I was then told to wait at the collection counter, I given the name on the collection and was told it wasn't ready yet, I was acknowledged by the manager and was told "it's on its way", Some guy came in at 6.35pm and collected his order while I still waited... At 6.45 I questioned where my food was, and again was told "it's on its way"....

Finally at 6.55pm I finally received my order homa drove to eat it.

And the icing on the cake.... They couldn't even get the order correct...we where missing the Piri Chips...

Paying top money for chicken and getting service this substandard is a joke...

You seriously need to sort your...
